Tumingin ako sa mga matang kinahuhumalingan ko at nakitang napakasigla nito habang nakatitig saakin.

"Get your ass off your bed now!" I groaned and threw my pillow at my twin brother. Dakilang panira ng moment ng may moment eh.

I attempted to go back to sleep when he grabbed my sheets causing me to throw him a deadly glare.

"That won't work."

Fine! Whatever. Matutulog parin ako!

"Jade!!! Iiwanan ka na talaga namin! Diba sinabi ko naman sayo na ngayon tayo babyahe papuntang Baguio?! But look at you! Bahala ka na nga diyan. I dont care if you'll spend your whole summer rotting in th-"

Geez. Ngayon nga pala kami magbyabyahe. Bakit ko nakalimutan yon? Argh.

Kuya's still nagging his butt off so I storm my way to the bathroom, bahala siya magsalita mag-isa diyan panira ng moment!

Just one quick shower. I hurriedly wear pullover and jeans, slip my converse, the one that has pen arts in it.

Lagay nalang ako ng lagay ng kung ano man ang mahablot kong damit hanggang sa magkalaman yung maleta ko. Sana wala akong nakalimutan. Bahala na si batman.

I effortlessly carried my luggage and even raced with my brother who is currently on his way down the stairs. Hindi ko na kailangan ng kape. I'm wide awake as hell!

I was running so fast I'm so close to tripping. Kaso hindi ako nadapa dahil napahinto ako ng makita si Arren. Yung crush ko na kaibigan ni kuya! I turn to look at my brother who has his turn to flash a playful grin at me.

I rolled my eyes and walked towards the car, ignoring everyone. Pa snob effect ang peg.

Before I can even sit at the shotgun. Ash occupied it. Great. Just great. Sige tadhana pag lapitin mo kami ng paglapitin kapag ako nahulog at nasaktan mapapatay kita.

I have no choice but to sit with Arren and my annoying brother.

"Oh biglang nahiya si baby girl?" Bulong ni kuya pagkatapos niya ilagay yung mga gamit namin sa likod ng kotse.

I pinched him at the waist which made him flinched and which also made Arren turn to look to us. I felt my face turn crimson which made the jerk beside me tease me more.

"All set na?" Tanong ni kuya Pj dahilan para maituon ni kuya yung atensiyon niya sa iba. Whoo salamat savior ka kuya Pj!

The whole trip, kuya Pj and Ash are busy chatting about some game I barely know. My brother is sleeping, well more of like drooling. Ew. Arren is busy texting (I guess?) kaya naman nakatulala lang ako kasi wala akong kausap. I thought this trip would be fun. Ang sakit talaga umasa. Hugot!

Napagdesisyonan kong magsoundtrip nalang so I plugged my earphones, played the playlist I made for my favorite songs, and turned the volume up.

Pinapakinggan kong mabuti yung lyrics at narealize kong puro napakalungkot pala ng mga kantang to. I didnt know why I get too easily attached with this type of music. Was it the sweet agonizing melody, or the pity I feel towards the story behind this song? Maybe both.

I was savouring every word of the song when all of a sudden it was interrupted by the continuous vibration by my phone. Notifications from Instagram...
