Long ago,there lives a world call sozo ryoku at the sky of the living world.The world protect the living world by trapping this mysterious creature that human thought was not real.This creatures are called myths.There are types like fairies,pixie,Big foot,golem,talking animals,kyuubis,dragons,santa clause and many more that humans thought are not real.The Oshoku, similar to hollows are Corrupted myths that will be killed by ryoku.Ryoku are similar to shinigami but they dont learn kido they learn shikigami.
shikigami help them to summon myths or power of your element.Everyone can learn shikigami human,shinigamis and more.Element power have 7 types like fire,water,wind,light,shadow and earth.Each element power has a tower or their main house to protect from oshoku from destroying the tower that made the barrier around the town of Monogatari.The barrier are the one who protect the town of monogatari.
Each tower has its leader know as knight and their follower.Each tower has 150 follower that has to report about the oshoku and the conddition of the tower.Some tower have their own duty like the water tower are healing,the earth tower is to repair any damage of tower,the fire tower are about the food,the wind tower are the weather,the light tower are the light that they use.Only the shadow tower has no duty.
In one tower the only title that the follower can be are the ace and the jack.They help and report the knights and be the second leader of the follower.The knights are like the captain and the ace and the jack are like the lieutenant .The leader of the world is the king and the queen of monogatari.They say only the knights can see the king and the queen.The one that helps the king is called the jocker.
There are clans that is under speacial protection such as the main 4 clan like kanashimi clan,Tetsuya clan,Sakuya clan and the Akiyama clan.They said that the prince as gone missing and they are trying to find him around the world.
