CHAPTER TWO

 I woke up with a slight headache I remembered listening to songs on my iPod throughout the whole night , I got up from bed took a shower got dress in a sweat shirt and a short I wore my snickers I ran through the staircase smelling fried chicken 'good morning mom' I greeted packing my things 'finally thank God I did not have to shout your name before you answered me and the McCalls where looking for you they wondered why you did not come for their party last night it was there anniversary" said mom "I was kind of tired last night mom and by the way how was your date with josh yesterday" I asked trying to change the topic at hand " well" mom said blushing "we are surprisingly engaged I mean it just started so fast and he asked me if I would marry him immediately I said yes thoughtlessly, honey you should have been there we had slow music lots of food it was the best time of my life" she said happily, I didn't want her to get married to josh I mean we didn't get along and I wanted there to be a chance of her being with dad "aren't you gonna say anything , aren't you honey" asked mom "yeah sure, happy marriage life mama dear" I said dryly "mom, will, would not give the baseball racket" shouted zack angrily "come on honey let go get your racket" said mom carrying zack up stairs "mom, so you know lily is coming to pick me for school in her car and here she comes bye mom I love you" I said running outside "hey what up are you alright I mean are you okay you look deranged" called lily "come on drive me to school will you" I said . we got to school we were laughing into the hall way when I saw grace talking to her wannabes they seemed to be having fun I mean all my life I wanted to be in their group I mean they have everything on fleek their hairs and nails were goddamn beautiful "do you think I should talk to them like right now you know what I mean" I asked lily who had left my side and the bell rang for class I was having French Mrs. Pierre "bonjour" I said sitting next to kiron "hey princess you didn't show up for the dinner" he asked holding his camera "I was kind of tired and needed to rest ,sorry was it that nice you know mom said a lot" I said "and please drop the camera" I added "yes as you wish my princess" he said smirking "bonjour classe" Mrs. Gonzales greeted with a broad smile "bonjour" we answered "today class we are going to be talking on your holidays and I would like you to say it in French starting with kiron" she said "pendant le vancances je." Said kiron "where are you coming from young man" asked Mrs. Gonzales "sorry ma" said Christian the hottest boy in school he was every girls dream including mine I mean I always liked him since I was a freshman he had always been cute and why most girls can't get him is because he is going out with gracie the school's hottest girl "young man see me after class you are now a senior this habit of yours will not be acceptable and please have your sit and back to you kiron" I couldn't but think what was wrong with him he looked so down like he was alone I wished I could talk to him . During lunch I sat with lily and her boyfriend Alex, kiron, Rachel was lily netball friend I stared at the populars and I sometimes or should I say I still wish I was on their table I mean their table was fun the lacrosse players, cheerleaders and the wannabes "hey kiron we need you to video us play netball please could you" asked lily "yeah sure why not" answered kiron "hey princess you are not hungry are you alright" asked kiron "yeah am just not hungry today" I said absentmindedly "it them right" lily asked angrily "what " I asked pretending "young lady I wanna see you privately" she said pulling me from the table we got to the ladies "wtf is wrong with you wanna be part of the people who treat you like dirt" she said angrily "that is not what is wrong with me, mom is re-marrying and she wants to get married josh" I fumed "are you serious, am really sorry I mean I didn't know that was what was wrong with you should have just told me why are we best friends" she apologized holding me tight  "do you want to talk about these"  she asked squeezing my hand "no" I said "not in the mood to right now" I said , I couldn't believe I just lied to my best friend I always told her everything my deepest and darkest secret and she told me hers I wish I hadn't lied but I did it for the best I wouldn't want her to know that I longed for their friendship, after school I walked with kiron home actually he forced me to walk with him home "you look like someone who would want to sort their thought" he said I look at him ignoring what he said "come follow me let me take you somewhere" he said dragging me he took me to a place that was kind of a long walk and we finally got to a place that looked like an abandoned reserve it had a waterfall and beautiful flowers with strong and fierce trees it looked like a forest " I call this place best friend whenever " he said smiling pointing around "wow this place is lovely but how did you find this place " I asked still looking amazed " come on now princess I found this place it not like it is owned by anyone" I looked at him this place was indeed beautiful I sat on the ground and he sat beside me we talked for a long time and when it was evening we went home "good night your highness" he said at my doorstep" goodnight guard" I said going in " tell me where the hell you had been" mom asked as I entered I ignored her question and waved at my brothers who were fighting for ribena they still acted like they were five , zack gave me the get the fuck out look I looked for theo he wasn't around he probably at some club and went to my room and straight to bed happy that I might be able to do something no one has done before and with the feeling my life might become better.
