Garrett's POV

A few days have passed since Jazzy agreed to marry me and I'm the happiest man on this earth. I can't wait to make her mine. Right now my head is on her stomach and I'm nuzzling it. Soon our baby will be there if I have my way. She's so soft and beautiful. I can't wait to see my angel walking down the isle. But there are some obstacles we have to get by first like meeting her parents, going on a job interview and wedding planning. It's almost overwhelming but my girl is a master at pressure situations. Well most of them anyway.

(Two days ago)

"So Garrett my dad wants to meet you." She says panicking.

"Okay Jazzy. But why do you sound so scared? It's not like he's going to kill me. Right?" I laugh nervously.

"Yeah he would actually. The last guy I brought to meet my dad he punched in the throat. Oh my gosh he's going to kill the first man I've lo-liked. What if he finds out you that we've kissed? He's going to kill me. I love my dad but I can't lose you Garrett. Maybe we won't go. Maybe.." I stop her mid sentence with a searing kiss.

"I'm sure your dad isn't that bad. I will do anything for you and I'll prove to your dad that I can take care of you."

"Just be prepared." She warns.

"I will baby girl. So when are we going to meet your dad?"

"In two hours." She says quietly.

"Okay don't panic, wife. I love you. We can do this. But before we go I want to give you something."

"You are my heart and my soul. I've waited millennia for you. The woman who would capture my heart and my soul. I'll love you until the end of my days. Will you do me the honor of being my wife and the mother of our children?" I look up at her from my kneeling position.

"Yes. Yes I'll marry you, Gar."

The Ring

Jasmine's POV

I can't stop staring at my ring it's beautiful. He so sweet. I really hope my dad likes him.

"Wife, don't be so nervous and we're here." Gar says.

I sigh, "Let's get this done."

I walk up to my childhood home and I'm about to knock when my daddy opens the door.

"Baby girl! I missed you." My dad says.

I jump in his arms, "Hey daddy!" I may have been nervous about today but I'm still a daddy's girl.

Garrett is just standing there after my dad puts me down.

"Now are you the young man who thinks he can take my baby girl from me?" My dad asks.

"Daddy this is Garrett Mikaelson, my fiancé. Please don't be mean I love him okay."

"Hello, Mr. Riley. I assure you that I'm not going to take her from you. I just want to love her, cherish her and grow with her until I die."

My dad gives him the eye, glaring at him as if he was trying to figure him out.

"You hurt her and I'll kill you. I'll make sure no one ever finds your body. Even if they do I'll serve my time with a smile on my face. Do you understand me boy?"

"Yes sir."

"Good. Now get in this house so we can talk some more."

With that my dad walks in the house and I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. I turn to look at my fiancé, "Come on." I kiss him sweetly but quickly.

We had so much fun with my dad. It was awesome. I wish my mom was still around to see all of this and to meet Gar. My dad loves him well after the initial tension was out of the air.

When we walking back to my car my dad called me back, "I approve, Jazz. He's a good guy. But if that changes I always got my gun on me."

Giggling, "yes daddy."

"It wasn't so bad baby girl. But tomorrow this interview is scary." He fake shudders.

"You'll do fine, husband. Now let's go home so we can cuddle and watch Aladdin."
