Kaylan's P.O.V.
~
"Whatever, Andrew! It's over.." I screamed into my phone, waiting to hear the two consecutive beeps, letting me know that the call has ended.
I throw down the phone, which would be shattered by now if I didn't have on my Otter Box. I stare into the mirror at my broken reflection, black lines smeared down my cheeks.
"Whatever", I tell myself, "He doesn't matter. He's not worth it, Kaylan." I try to get myself out of the mental hole, but it's not working. I guess I'll just have to get my mind off of Andr- him, somehow.
I snatch my phone off of the floor and stare blankly at my locksreen, Andrew and I. I frantically unlock my phone and change the wallpaper to a picture of my dog before I can think about it any longer. I hit the FaceTime button and scroll through my favorites looking for "Jojooo. ♡" aka, one of my best friends.
Calling, calling, connecting. And the face of my favorite person pops up onto the screen.
"What's up with you?!" Josie asks me, seeming worried. "It's Andrew isn't it? Kaylan, I told you he was no good." She continues, rolling her eyes.
"Yeah. I should've listened." I blurt.
"Well, the queen is always right." She answers. I stifle a giggle. This girl can always make me laugh.
"Anyways, who cares about him? He's just dirt under those cute little Converse that I know you're wearing right now." She grins. Dang, she knows me so well.
"Wanna come over and help me grieve?" I ask.
"No, but I will come over and help you get over him." She says, and ends the call as if to say 'I'm coming, now'.
I toss my phone onto my bed and let out a sigh of relief. Maybe now that Andrew and I are over, I have a small chance with Tristen, but I doubt it.. I guess we'll see tomorrow, at school.
