Kaylan's P.O.V.
"Sweetie, Josie is here!" My dad calls from downstairs.
"Send her up here!" I yell, making sure he can here me.
Moments later, Josie appears at the foot of my bed.
"I need some food." She declares.
"Oh God." I say, laughing and plopping back down into a laying position on my bed. Josie sits down next to me and rests her chin on the edge of her palm.
"No, I'm serious." She says. We hop off of the bed and head downstairs. I slide across the kitchen, thanks to my new socks, and open the pantry. Josie glares over my shoulder, and I know what she's looking for.
"No, we don't have Doritos. Tucker ate them all yesterday during the football game. Sorry" I say.
"It's alright. I can settle for Cheez-Its." She says, reaching past my head for the box.

"Do you think we'll get our new schedules tomorrow?" Josie says, still munching on her cheez-its.
"I doubt it, the office lady is too lazy to do anything, so why would take the time out of her precious day to make our schedules?" I respond.
Josie and I had offered to help our librarian shelve books during 6th period, since our 6th was just sitting around, helping the mentally challenged kids do their homework. Plus, the librarian gives us each $10 a day for helping her.
"I'm tired, let's go the bed." I mumble to Josie who is reading fan fiction on her iPhone, under a large blanket.
"Ok." She says and throws the blanket away from her face, pushing herself up from the couch.
She turns around and heads towards the stairs, and I follow her, watching her long brown hair sway back and forth in her ponytail. Josie's always happy, and that ponytail of hers is always bouncing.
We climb the stairs and turn the corner into my small, yet suitable room. I fumble around in the drawer of my night stand, searching for my remote.
"Ooh, let's watch Breaking Bad. The series finale is tonight!" Josie exclaims, nearly shouting.
"Ok, but shh! My dad's sleeping!" I giggle.
She grabs a pillow from my closet and throws it onto my bed, along with herself. "Tomorrow's gonna be a long day, you know." She says.
"Yeah I know. Everyone's gonna find out sooner or later, though. And it's not like we can't say that I dumped him." I respond, a grin spreading across my face.
