When I got home, I just dumped my keys on the kitchen counter and laid on the sofa, bored.
I took off my jacket and lifted up my T-shirt to take a look at my stomach, to notice I was starting to get fat. I was chubbier than a few weeks ago, and grunted at the thought that I was going to have to start doing exercise again soon.
I got up to drink a Pepsi when I got a call from Lou and I declined the first one, but I decided to answer te second call.
"What is it Lou?"
"Hey Ry, I'm sorry about what happened just earlier with Harry, and he wants to apologise." he spoke through the phone, and I panicked at the thought that he could've told him the truth.
"Louis, please tell me you didn't-"
"Calm down, I didn't tell. I'm here with him at the park a street from the mechanic shop. Please come."
"I really don't want to see his stupid face today, he's an arsehead. And I'm tired, plus I've gotta study, I've got an economy exam on Monday, I just remembered that a few minutes ago."
"It'll just be an hour, maybe a bit more. After that, you don't have to see him for the rest of the weekend."
I sighed. "Okay, fine. But just this time, if it was any other day...I would've said 'no'." I knew he was smiling on the other side of the line.
"Great, thanks."
I hung up, and grabbed my keys once more, and left the flat before catching another cab to take me to the park where apparently Louis was.
"Thanks for coming." he smiled as I walked towards him.
"Yeh yeh, let's get this over with." I swatted my hand in a playful way, before Harry appeared from behind Lou.
"This was your 'better idea'?" he motioned to Louis.
"You to have to get along if you don't want these 6 months to be miserable for both of you." Louis said.
"Wait, are you trying to tell me that this jerk never had the intention to apologise?" I asked.
"Who are you calling a jerk, slob?"
"No one less than you, jackass." I spat.
"If I would've known you were going to act as bad as you dress, I would've taken you off the list right away."
"Yeah, well...too bad sunshine." I faced Louis. "Can I go home now and study?"
"No. Harry, apologise."
"No way!"
"Now."
"Make me." he dared.
"I'll make you...just wait until everyone on Twitter knows you wear underwear with Perry The Platypus written over your bum." I chuckled silently.
"You wouldn't."
"You know I would, now...apologise or I'll make this picture internationally famous." he showed him the picture, and he shook his head.
"Fine. Ryan, I'm sorry."
"That's not an apology." Louis pushed and Harry muttered something under his breath which neither Louis or I could hear.
"Okay. Look, I'm sorry I insulted you and called you a slob and..." he looked at Louis.
"For being a pain in the ass, I'll try to be better."
"Try?" Lou raised an eyebrow at him and I just gave out a muffled laugh.
"I'll be better. Happy now?" I gave a small smile.
"It's cool. I understand that we can all be pains in the ass sometimes, so don't worry, but it doesn't mean we're friends."
"Sure, don't worry about it." he gave me a sideways grin.
"See? How hard was that?" Louis said. "GROUP HUG!" he yelled and wrapped Harry and I in a hug, making us laugh.
"Ew, boys have cuties." I joked, as I separated from both of them.
"But girls are weird. Especially girls like you Ryan." Louis argued back.
"You love me that way anyway." I shrugged and he nodded.
"Well then...I guess I'll get going, II've got to go study for an exam. See you guys later I guess." I said oddly.
"And where do you think you're going?" Louis stared at me.
"To my house, dumbo. I've got stuff to do."
"Oh no you're not. You're here, so why don't you to start getting to know each other?" he looked at Harry and then back at me.
"I wouldn't like to interrupt any plans you guys've got."
"Yeah, plus if she needs to study, it's better if she does that." Harry joined the conversation.
"Do you guys know what my dad used to say about excuses?"
"I think I do." I smiled.
"Um...no...?" Harry stared at him awkwardly.
"They're like armpits, everybody has one, and they all stink..." we both laughed.
"Yeah, I knew I'd heard that from someplace." I said as my laughter calmed down.
"Anyways, back to the point...just walk around the park maybe half an hour? C'mon people get your shit together, you're-by law-dating, you've gotta get to know each other sooner or later."
"I guess you're right." Harry shrugged.
"Okay, but just 30 minutes, alright?"
"Deal." he gave us a cheeky smile, before we began walking around the park.
There was an uncomfortable silence between us, until Harry broke the ice.
"So...you know Louis since you were kids?"he asked.
"Uh, yeah, about 10 or 11 years ago, maybe. I'm not sure."
"Nice."
"Yeah." I looked around to see if there was anything to distract myself with. "So, what's it like to be a singer?"
"It's awesome. The fans are really supportive and they're just great. What career are you studying?"
"I'm gonna be a lawyer. I wanted to be a professional volleyball player, but it's ridiculous." I lowered my head a bit.
"How come?"
"Well, after your done...what else is there? You know? Afterwards, it'll be like, okay cool...I did what I wanted to, now what?"
"I get what you mean. Not to be offensive or anything, but I don't think I can imagine you as a lawyer."
"Yeah, me neither, but one of my adop-sorry I mean my dad was a lawyer, and he wanted me to be one, so here I am." the more I spoke, I started to get a headache, I hadn't been feeling so well since I ate that frozen piece of pizza which was probably about 2 hours ago, maybe?
"Cool."
"Yep." we sat on a bench and talked for probably another 10 minutes until I apologised and said I had to go and went back home to rest for a while, hoping I'd feel better before I studied, which my hopes were all in vain, because later my head still hurt so I took an aspirin to calm it down, and without noticing, I fell asleep until the next day, awakened by my phone ringing and a pleased Catherine on the phone line, saying that today in the morning, most of the teen magazines had the headline: Harry Styles Moved On? or Harry Styles & New Mystery Girl, Dating? Along with pictures of us all over the cover pages. Though we all knew it wasn't going to be long until the crazy fans stared researching and found out about me.
