Erika sat on her bed, her eyes staring at the mirror across from her. She put her head back the headboard, her scarf slowly falling off her head as she sighed - not having the energy to fix it. Erika has rented this apartment by threatening the cashier with his own cash register and getting the room. Erika's bright blue eyes went to the TV, a news report on her but a name caught her name.

Charles Xavier.

Oh god, it's a while since she heard that name. She closed her eyes, rubbing her temple as she stood up. She listened closely to the report as she opened the closet doors.

'Charles Xavier has been invited by the one and only infamous playboy, Bruce Wayne. Although we do not know why Bruce Wayne is hosting a gala, but if one mutant is invited, how do we not know the others are not?'

Erika clenched her jaw as she knew the 'others' being her. They knew she was here, and Erika wanted to know what reason Charles is here. So, she needed a dress. And a way to sneak into Bruce Wayne's Gala.

Unless, Charles comes and finds her first? Erika's thoughts were scattered, not knowing what to believe. She need to let out her anger. 'The point of rage and serenity.' Charles would tell her, trying to calm her mind - but, Charles wasn't here. Erika was on her own. As she has always been. She has been on her own and this time will not be different.

'Or we could cause havoc-'

"Let's not." Erika whispered under her breath as she grabbed a blue long sleeve shirt and put it on along with her dress shoes and left the small apartment. Gotham skies were just twenty-four seven gloomy. But Erika grew up around gloomy, so it reminded her of home. Or it's remains.

The streets were always filled and today wasn't any different. Everybody pushing past you, cars honking, but something made Erika stop. She was grabbed from the sidewalk and into an alley way - more and a few hands used to grab her. She immediately started struggling. A face come to her's and whispered,

"You're the mutant everybody talkin' about?" A accent dripped off everybody letter of the sentence as Erika didn't answer. There was about five men just holding her down, one talking to her, three behind the one talking and one really pissed off Erika. She smirked smugly as she looked at one of the men's neck to find dog tags hanging loosely.

She clenched her fist and the man started choking. Erika head-butted the man in front of her but this caused the five around her to push her head back and put her fists over her head. She tried to move but it was no use. She groaned as the man she head butted groaned as well and stood up, probably a bruise forming on his forehead.

"Listen here you little-"

"I'm older than all of you!" She retorted, a chuckle escaping her lips as the men behind the one in front of her went to try to help the man on the floor. She looked at the metal dog tags, trying to lift it but broke concentration once the dark haired man grabbed her face and made her look at him. "Listen, you and your little friends are all going to leave Gotham. Tonight. And do not come back."
