It was Saturday and I have nearly forgotten what had happened to me yesterday. I was trying my hardest to not think about it but every now and then it comes back to me. I was telling myself to just continue with my life because I'm strong and nothing could make me weak.
"Put a damn shirt on." Nathan was walking around the house, shirtless so of course I was going to complain. Not everyone in the universe wants to kneel down to his pecks and biceps. Seriously, he isn't the only man walking on this earth with that kind body.
If I didn't know better, I would have been flaunting at the sight. But, like I said, it wasn't amusing me.
"You secretly like it, admit it." He winked. I most certainly just barfed.
"I think I just threw up." I gave him a disgusted face. He laughed and messed up my hair. I slapped his arms away. "Stop, do you know how long it took me to do this hairdo."
"No. Why are you so dressed up anyways?" he sat next to me, I scooted over. If I could've, I would've scooted all the way to California. He laughed at my movement.
"Because if you must know, I have a date." I told him proudly. I haven't been on a date since well, I actually never really been on a real date. Josh and I have been talking lately and he finally asked me on a date but somehow, someway, I knew this relationship wasn't meant to be. If this was any other guy, I would have denied but I couldn't. Why? Well because Gray set us up. He told me he went through all the trouble just to make me less miserable. How generous, I love him so much.
"Look at you, growing up so fast." he patted my shoulder. I shrugged it off and walked towards the window to water my plants.
I was still very upset with him and what he did to me but I was not trying to show it to him. I didn't want him to think that for the whole day yesterday, I had a strong feeling of consternation. I didn't feel like me.
"You're lucky a housekeeper and I took care of the mess you made after that party, yesterday." I announced.
"Yeah well, I didn't ask for you to." He responded back.
"Well I did. A 'thank you' would be nice." I rolled by eyes. "Now, put on a shirt before my date comes and finds it weird."
"Sure." He was swinging his shirt around above his head, whistling like a maniac, when I cursed under my breathe.
The elevator door dinged open revealing none other than my date, who apparently, knew this child whom is Nathan. "Oh, uh...Nathan?" Josh looked at me awkwardly. He looked ravishing (a word my mom overly used). His light blonde hair was lightly combed back and he was wearing a nice sky blue shirt which brought out his eye color and dressed it down with white capris. Can we just jump into the make out session? He looked so good. I think Gray picked him out for himself if not for me.
"Sorry, he's crazy." I said walking over to him and nervously laughing.
"Josh? What's up bro!" Nathan made his way over to us. Oh dear lord, please help.
"Hey." Josh patted his back.
"So you're the one dating Victoria?" Nathan pursed his lips.
"That's me, man." Josh replied. I really want to get out of here before these two start having a relationship.
"That's unfortunate." he laughed very low. I scowled at him. Way to embarrass me. I'll make sure to strangle you later.
