It started off on day one. It was a typical Friday evening for myself and for the clique of obnoxious college teens I was with. We were making our usual rounds near the outdoor shopping plaza near our campus. We didn't really have anything planned for the day but neither of us wanted to stay in doing absolutely nothing.

This was the first time I was actually away from home and I felt like I had accomplished something grand. Back home everyone thought I wasn't going to leave. They all thought that I was going to live with my parents for a few more years but little did they know I was more than ready to go off on my own. I loved the feeling of freedom. It felt ... nice.

I was happy. I made a nice group of friends but that was just a portion that explained my happiness. I met a guy named Jasper my first week of being a college freshmen and I've grown very fond of him if I do say so myself.

I met Jasper in the most cliche way possible. It was sickening to be honest. It was sickening because it was cliche. It was the typical setting of a frat party. We both got drunk and that sort of sparked our relationship. I liked him because not every girl in town was on his dick every second of the day so I gave him a chance.

Since today was Friday that means someone who was anyone would be throwing a party. I always told myself that going to a party was my treat to myself for putting up with school for so many years. This is where freedom felt nice. I was no stranger to feeling alive. Life was meant for living and so here I was living my life.

As the people around me were chilling and chit chatting to one another about their most recent where abouts, I checked my phone and went to every social media app I had and tried to see if anyone posted about any parties going on today.

"Anyone going to Jace's party tonight?" I smiled. I knew someone was hosting a party.

"Yea we're all down to go." one of my friends confirmed for the rest of them. We all had smirks plastered on our faces. We knew what the night had to offer and we were more than ready to fucking take it and own it.

My body felt so energized. I could already taste the alcohol and feel it's usual affects it had on me. I was ready to make blurred memories and sleep in real late because that was my way of forgetting regrets from the night before momentarily. I can already feel the loud bass booming through my fragile body and the way the music would make my ears ring. It was nights like these were it okay not to listen to my annoying conscious.

The time went by and the sun was setting. It's loud colors scattered through out the sky making it sweep along the horizon beautifully. It took a beautifully natural sign like this to tell me it was time to get ready.

We all said our casual goodbyes and departed from one another. I made my way to my dorm and whilst on my way there I was blocking every possible thought in my mind and tried to only focus on what outfit I would look best in. It seemed to do the trick because before I knew it I was making my way through the door and was rummaging through my soon-to-be disorganized closet.

I sat down on the floor and ran my hand through my hair long hair. I was a bit flustered at the mess I had made and the outfit I pictured myself wearing didn't look all that great after all. I looked around at the scattered clothes around me and just decided to spice up the night and wear something I wouldn't normally wear. I did my make-up the usual Arizona way and proceeded on attending my hair.

Once I was satisfied with everything I had put together, I finished up by putting on perfume to the desired areas on my body I knew the boys would make their way to, that would mostly be my neck area. I grabbed my keys and closed the door. On my way outside I made sure to put a long sweater on. I didn't need typical assholes gawking at me.
