Hailey had been a singlemom for such a long time and it was not a big deal for her. She could simply go out with her Cassandra on a simple break, going out on a movie date and the usual normal life you could ever imagine. She feared her ex-husband, Mark because of some threats and the weird narcissistic attitude he had.

One Sunday afternoon in Hailey's crib. Cassandra and Mikaela were playing outside, then..

A message from John: "I was calling out for mom but she never answered my call. Did Mikaela come over and play with your Cassandra?" Hailey replied with no hesitations "Yes. And they've been doing great, they're just playing here. You know kids. No worries."

It ended a casual talk from a friendly neighbour in Hailey's happy place.

John is a reserved type of person, secretive maybe yes, because of his dark past that Hailey still digging it up through their casual friendship. They had been friend for such a long time but improper exchanging of ideas begins the deep friendship.

First impression: Hailey hated John. John dislikes Hailey.

Hailey hated John with those small reasons that every woman does, by being conceited and such a pain in the *ss, with those clingy women relationship that he have. That's what she sees on John as a headturner type, which all women are into him except her.

John on the other hand, dislikes Hailey the fact that Hailey is a boyish type who doesn't even care how messy her hair was.

Their sentiments began to be drifted away as these two get to know each other with their arguments exchanged messages.

John: Hey Hailey! Wanna go out somewhere?

Hailey: What do you think of me? I would just go with someone as stupid as you are?

John: Why not? You are with someone attractive, hot and be noticed as well.

Hailey: What the.. Anyways, I am sorry but I am not the type who would go well with your plan. Nice talking to you by the way. Bye.

John: Why in a hurry? You are such a homie, Hailey! Why not go out? Have fun! Why do you deprive yourself from happiness?

Hailey's heartbeat stopped all of a sudden. Then she thinks deeply that somehow that phrase from an unexpected person would hurt her. Not hurt her rather it awakens her soul. It was a simple phrase that made Hailey bothered as few days came along.

John: Hi Hailey! So, have you changed your mind?

Hailey: Nope! I stick with my decision. And why bother to invite me where you can have someone's ass go along with you.

John: Wow! You are such an angel Hailey. I am trying to tempt you by the way.

Hailey: Thank You Mr. Devil but I ain't gonna fall in your trap. I am not the type of woman who is likely to be the same as your women. And I am pretty sure once you encounter someone who has the cream of the crop, your life will change. Why won't you find someone trustworthy enough and stop fooling around women. Grow up!

John: Hahaha! So you think you are the one? Why not try me first so that you'll have the greatest love of your life.

Hailey: Yeah right. Mr. Devil. Stop tempting and I warned you "Do not fall in love with me" or else hahaha

John: Lucky you!

Never Hailey realized that she hit John. Stabbed in his heart with those lines that made his mind stirred up, that relationships are meant to be played and to simply have fun. No Commitments, No emotional feelings and definitely No strings attached. That is how John ruled the relationship.

But with those words, it made him think twice. Is there someone out there as honest and trustworthy and deserved to be truly loved?
