Her eyes shot opened with alarm as she stared at the flower in her hand,"Blood?". Her eyes were wide with shock and fright. A million things rushing in her head that she didn't hear the set of footsteps behind her.

"Mommy!" Airisu inhaled and slowly turned with wide eyes. Ai's arm was attached to the arm of a familiar figure, causing Airisu to growl.

"Sariel!?"

Sariel smirked and bowed mockingly, "Mi'Lady, your beauty still manages to leave me breathless." He commented, as Airisu stared hard at him, and Ai looked up at the male in fear.

Airisu gulped, adrenaline pumping in her veins. She has been angry before, but never in her life has she felt the burning need to rip someone's heart out, until that very moment when she saw the fearful look on Ai's face. She really, truly, and utterly wanted to tear the man's spinal cord out and wring his neck with his own innards.

Airisu growled, her anger reaching it's peak, when Sariel harshly tugged Ai's arm towards him, inflicting a cry from the child."RELEASE HER NOW OR I'LL RIP YOUR HEART OUT!!" For a second, Airisu could have sworn that sadness pooled in Sariel's orbs. A sadness so intense that she almost, almost, wanted o give him a hug, but as soon as the thought came it went. She outstretched her arm towards Sariel, hand beckoning Ai,"Give me Ai or I will wing your neck with your innards."

Sariel quirked an eyebrow up and tilted his head to the side in mock confusion, " Is that a threat? "

Airisu had to stop herself from snarling, "It's a promise!!"

Once again a sad look came in his eyes, and his one came out very soft, and broken, dejected almost, "You....would kill me..without even knowing how much I mean to you..or how much you mean to me?" His lips went down to a frown.

"Yes..." Airisu said strongly,without missing a beat. Sariel put up an emotionless mask and his frown turned into a straight line, his eyes a blank canvas.

"All.....because of this child......" Sariel looked down at the ground with a pissed off expression, like if looks could kill, the floor would be vaporized.

"I don't know you! I don't care about you! I could never care for you and I never will try to!" She shouted, and Sariel looked lost, Airisu narrowed her eyes at him when he pushed Ai towards her. She gently scooped the girl up in her arms and held her to her chest, Ai in relief at being in her caretaker's ams, she happily threw her arms around the elder bruenette's neck."Bambina,are you alright? " Ai nodded her head, causing Airisu to sigh happily and hugged her small body tighter to her chest. Their heartbeats hammering against each other.

Suddenly a chuckle erupted from Sariel, startling the two girs. His chuckles turned into an insane laughter, a laughter so maniacal that it sounded foreign coming out of his lips.

After a few seconds,Sariel showed no signs of stopping, which irked the Kuran female. Airisu glared hard at the ravenette,"Why are you laughing? "

Sariel ceased his laughter and looked up at Airisu, (since his head was facing down in his palms), ears were in his red eyes an running down his cheeks, his mouth turned in a bitter smile,"Oh this is remarkable!! THIS IS HILARIOUS!!" More tears ran down his eyes and he stalked towrd Airisu and placed his hands on her shoulders, Airisu turned slightly to shelter Ai away from the madman. "THEY ALL SAID MY EFFORTS WERE FUTILE!! THAT YOU WOULDN'T REMEMBER, BUT YOU DID!!" He shook her shoulders, desperation in his eyes,"YOU REMEMBERED ME ONCE WHEN YOU WERE A CHILD!! WHY HAVE THE MEMORIES ESCAPED FROM YOUR GRASP!?" He began sobbing, as if he never cried in his entire existence, it all came rushing out like a waterfall, and Airisu had have enough.

"ENOUGH OF YOUR STUPIDITY!!"Airisu glared at him, she pushed him back and bitch slapped his face. Silence ensued afterwards, a tense and dangerous one. Sariel held his red cheek, as he stared at Airisu in shock, a heart broken look on his face."I don't know you, I don't care to know you and I would never in my life give a fuck about you, so STOP STALKING ME, GET OUT OF MY HOUSE, AND LEAVE MY FAMILY AND I ALONE!"

Sariel chuckled and rubbed his cheek,"I'm going to make you remember my dear Kanako," his eyes glowed an unearthly dark magenta color his lips pulled in a devious smirk," Mark my words, I will make you mine. For my name is Sariel, I swear upon it!!" He vanished in flames, and color seemed to wash back to the world.

"AI, AIRISU!!" Multiple voices shouted, making the two brunettes giggled.

Airisu looked down at Ai and she winke, pacing a lip to her lips in a 'shoo' motion,"Our little secret okay?"

Ai giggled, and mimicked Airisu's actions, " Secret!!" The two shared an amused glance and walked off to join their family members- who were running around the manor like headless chickens looking for them.

Airisu didn't notice the previous red rose, was now an inky black color, and shriveled up.
