Chapter 8

Thunder struck a tree by our house as i then jumped out of the livingroom couch and i ran to my big brother hugging him tight as another thunder strick happened. " Mikey get off me!"
I looked up to my brother as he pushed up his glasses to his face. " No! The thunder is not a good guy!"
Donnie signed as he then put his two fingers on his eyes under the glasses. " Mikey..."
" They why not take a stroll out in the storm." I looked to see it was raph as he had another beer in his hand while he was then walking to the living room.
" I can't walk into the storm. What if I get lost!" I asked raph while he then sat down and took a swig of his beer. " Just be a man Mikey and go face your fears."
I let Donnie go as I look to raph.
" Raph don't give him ideas you know how he-"
" Fine! I'll be back once the storm passes!" I said as I stormed off out to the front door as Leo opened the front door. I passed him while he then looked at me then to the others as I keep running till i was in the trees.
" I'll show you all! I can be a man!" I said with pride as I then placed my hands to my side with a confident smirk. Until a thunder noise was make making me jump and yelp as I looked around. " I-Im not afraid... I'm not afraid..."
I kept repeating myself as I then started to get more in the trees and came to the huge boulder that Leo told ups to not pass. But I sucked in some air and went closer to the boulder seeing more trees.
So I got up onto the boulder and sat on the top while looking around as this time lightning came with thunder making me jump off the boulder but on the opposite side. As I quickly looked up seeing that this side was a little more taller then his side. " Oh shell."
I started to feel a little unsafe so I quickly went ferret onto the trees as it looked like I could barely Fit throw them.
As I was trying to get throw two trees I got stick. " Awww come on tree let me go..." I then tried to pull myself away from the tree even though I was not budget.
" I did not ask for any free hugs!" I yelled as I then got free and rolled once then had the back of my shell and the back of my head hit a tree. I started rudding my head as I then turned up while while I was still on the floor seeing it looked like two trees as they swirled together as if they two where meant for to stick together.
The rain started a falling as foot steps then was being heard. I quickly got up and tried to look for a place to hide sense he could not hear witch way the foot steps where coming from.
As I decided witch way to go I turned around and quickly took two steps as I then felt something that i ran right into as it bounced off my plastron. I looked worried as i then saw it land on the ground with a hand on its head grunting.

I was sitting on the front porch with the rain almost here while Kri, Griz and Reevi where inside. I saw a lightning making me jump a little as I heard the girls chat.
So i grabbed my cruch and pulled myself put putting top of the cruch under my armpit supporting my other side. I got up and looked to the girls walking to the front door. " Hey guys I'm going for a little walk outside."
" Okay don't go to far we might get another pretty bad storm tonight." Said Griz as shado smiled and nod her head. " I'll be around the house."
I then turned around and walked with the cruch bing a pain sense i never really used them.
As I got down the stairs I walked to the trail and then heard a thunder making me smirk sense I was not that scared of it.
" I did not ask for any free hugs!" I heard some one yell so looked around a little to the tail as I saw something as if it was stuck in between two trees. I tried to walk over as fast as I could trying to not fall as I then saw it got free and rolled to the swirling tree.
It rubbed it's head and looked to the tree as if it was memorized by the why it was twirling up. I walked forward as I then guessed it was hearing me sense it was getting up and looked around. As it wasbnow starting to rain a little hard while it keep looking around.
Once I was only two steps away it quickly truns around and ran at me as I then got pushed to the ground. I grunted as I then looked up with one eye opened.
I then looked surprised as I then tried to get up with only one foot working as I said his name making him then notice me. " Mikey?"
" You!"
I smiled as I then came to him and huge him. " I knew you where real I just knew it!"
I heard his chuckle a little as I then pulled away and saw him looking at your foot. As i thought he was going to as a question he grabbed my cruch and handed it to me then asked his question. " How's your ankle? I hope you don't lose your foot!"
I smiled and then giggled as he stared to get worried and a little panicked. " Is okay the shark did not give me any damages other then getting a scar."
Mikey slightly smiled as a thunder noise came out and Mikey tensed up and grabbed me in a hug as i stuggled to breath. " M-Mikey I cant... breath."
Mikey immediately let's go of me accidentally making me land on both of my feet. I fell on the ground and yelled out pretty loud from the pain of my ankle while landing on my butt.
I grabbed my ankle as Mikey came to my side apologizing over and over.
" Oh my gosh! I'm sorry! I'm sorry I'm sorry! I'm sorry!"
After I took a couple of breaths in I smiled a little weakly at Mikey with a little chuckle. " It's okay. You didn't mean to do it on purpose."
He still looked a little disappointed with himself as he then helped me up and grabbing my cruch again. He got me up and I decided to ask Mikey a question. " Would you like to take a walk with me?"
He looked around as the rain was getting us more soaked but I saw he was looking a little scared. " Are you okay?"
" Yeah I'm fine! Why would I not be! Just because I'm out here alone in the rain doesn't mean anyth-" As a lighting was showed bright with thunder right after it made Mikey jump as he yelled. "IM NOT AFREAD!"
I looked at him for a little then I smiled and placed a hand on his arm making himself look at me. "It's okay I'm here."
He smiled and nod his head. " Thanks."
"Shado." He then looked at me a little confused. " What?"
" My name. It's shado."
"Shado? That sounds so cool! Like it's some sort of superhero name!"
I laughed as Mikey fallowed on laughing with me while we both then started walking down the tail. As we got to the cave Mikey looked at me then back to the cave while I grabbed his arm and started dragging him in.
I could feel him tense up but I just smiled as we where getting closer to the exit. The clouds was almost gone while we got out of the cave as Mikey looked around realizing the place. " This where I saved you!"
He ran to the shore seeing his house over on top of the Cliff with some lights off. " So this how you guys get here."
I chuckled as I got to the sand and sat down. " We come to Hawaii once a year. Always get here in April and leaves in September."
Mikey want to sit by shados side while he then looked up to the sky. " Does this mean we are friends?"
" Of course! You saved me why would we not be!" I smiled as we both just keep watching the sky as it was slowly clearing up showing the moons light shining it's reflection into the ocean.
