It wasn't surprising when she had called him to hang out with her for the day and now he found himself sitting a small cafe with her on a chilly Saturday afternoon. He watched her as she sat across from him, slowly and sliently sipping her cup of hot chocolate as the conversation he had with her replayed in his mind.

"Why are you still with him when you know how much he lies to you?"
"Because he's the one for me Hajime."
"We both know that's a bunch of bull shit [Name]. I can see it on your face."
"..."

He bite the inside of his cheek and he closed his eyes for a few seconds. He should've been more careful with his words but he couldn't help but say them. He just didn't understand why she would say that when she knows being with Oikawa any longer would only hurt her more.

"Hajime."

The sound of her soft voice snapped him out of his thoughts, making him look up at her.

"It's getting late, we should go home now."
"Ah...alright."

Slipping his black knitted sweater on, he followed her outside the cafe while he wrapped the grey knitted scarf around his neck. The walk home was quiet as he watched her from the corner of his eyes. Her hands were dug deep in her coat pocket as she tried to snuggled her face more into her coat.

"[Name]."

He said her name as she stopped in front of the gate to her home and turned to face him. He took off his scarf and wrapped it securely around her neck.

"I would never lie to you [Name]. Never." He brushed back a strand of her hair and stepped back. "Goodnight."
