We all have made missed opportunities whether it's because you chose to go to the beach instead of the movies but little did you know that the boy sitting next to you at the movies was slowly going to turn into your friend to a best friend to a boyfriend to your fiancé to your husband and together live a long and happy life together; but because you chose to go to the beach instead you will never meet him again and that is what I mean by missed opportunities.

As the song quotes "The choices we make change the path that we take" This means that if we decide to go left instead of right we will be lead into completely different paths and one may be bright and sunny while the other is dark and unhappy; sometimes it's a small choice like which restaurant should I go to or something big like last drink or ten more.
I have personally felt a huge missed opportunity. It was during the summer and my best friend invited me to the beach and my crush 'JJ' was there, along with a lot of other people who I have only heard about and never even got the opportunity to meet. I got really excited and overwhelmed but I remembered that I had to ask my parents and I knew I wasn't gonna go. I asked anyways and of course they said no. That night I didn't sleep a wink and all I thought about was how different or similar my life would've been if I went to the beach that day.
I'm sure that no one realizes that with a tiny choice can change their life forever no matter how small or big it is, it will change your life in one way or another. If you don't understand let me put this into your perspective. Let's say you got an offer to go to London for free, you don't have to pay for anything except shopping; but your parents said no and little did you know that your FAVORITE singer is in the room next to you, but since your parents said no you never got to meet them. Missed opportunities.
Life is filled with them but the best thing we can do is to try and make the best decisions and put your options into consideration of what will be the aftermath if you go left instead of right.
