It's a funny word isn't it?
Sacrifices
Sometimes you have to make them for those you love
Today in fact I made one
I let him go.
I love him,
So I want what's best for him
I want him to be happy
If that means letting go I'll do it
I did it.
Without him a piece of me is missing,
But I'll get it back
If that means letting go I'll do it
Without me I'm sure he's broken and hurt too
He told me was
I don't him to feel that way,
But I need him to get better
If that means letting go I'll do it
I need him to be happy
Without me.

Letting go is a burden that we all just carry
It's heavy and hurts our arms from time to time
We all must carry it though
Letting go sucks, but we all have to do it
Especially when it comes to those we love
It hurts but we have to
Letting go.
I can't do it anymore, but I have to
There's always someone waiting to catch you when you fall,
So don't be afraid to
You have to let go
