Ch. 7

"Wake up Danny." I heard Louis say and felt my body shake.
"I don't wanna." I said and rolled to his side, Bear shifting so he was in my spot and not by the edge of the bed.
He sleeps behinds my back with his head on my side. I move, he moves.
He's honestly my best friend.
"No offense Loui." I said.
"No offense what?" He asked confused.
I realized I hadn't said anything out loud.
"Nothing dear." I said and sat up.
"Why the fuck are you wearing a suit at 5:30 in the morning?" I asked.
"Well that's exactly why I woke you up. I have an important meeting and I want you and bear to come with me." He said and I looked at him then to bear who was passed out.
"Yeah give me a minute to shower. Get my black dress and the red heels." I said smiling, he returned and I got up.
"This is a business meeting not a 'god damn Lou she fine as fuck meeting!" He mumbled and I laughed.

"HOLY SHIT! BEAR IF YOUR MOM GOES LIKE THIS YOU GON HAVE A NEW DADDY!" Louis yelled and spun me around.
"What I don't look that good." I responded, blushing.
"Shut your mouth." He responded and gave me a kiss.

"I don't know how bear will react to all the people." I said calmly stroking the big ball of fluff on my lap.
"He'll be okay, won't you buddy?" He said and ruffled his head. 

We arrived and walked in, there were far more people than I expected.
"Be careful what you say, all of these people are in gangs. But they won't hurt you since I'm the leader." He whispered in my ear.
I smiled, feeling somewhat like a queen.
We walked and Bear in my arms to a circle table for two in the front.

"Everyone's looking at me." I said self consciously.
"Don't be intimidated." He said nonchalantly.
I nodded and shifted my eyes to the puppy who was asleep on my lap.

After a while, Louis got up on the stage and started talking about gang stuff I only tuned when he talked about fights then I would get all nervous and he would smile and wink at me, calming me down just a bit.
"I would now like to introduce the girlfriend you have all been hearing about. Danielle, come up here please." He said and I nervously stood up and walked on the stage, giving Bear to Miguel.
I walked to him and he took my hand.
"Why the fuck would you do this?" I whispered in his ear.
"Because if I die, you rule all of this."
I looked at him, then out at the room full of people who could at any given moment could kill someone. I guess that's just any room of people, it doesn't have to be a room of gang members for that to be a potential out come.
I nodded and felt just a little better.
But I really hope Lou doesn't die.
