*Liam’s PoV*

I walked past Annabel and into my room. I looked the door, and sat on my bed. What just happened? Everything was going fine, and I went in to kiss her. She kissed back and I took off her jacket. As she started to unbutton my shirt; she was so desprate to be loved that she was willing to give herself away on the first date. I couldn’t do that to her. I’m not taking that away from her. That’s meant to be special, not on the first date. On the front porch.

I know she’s not like that, but I was too flustered to say that to her. Instead, I just left. Left her to be confused with my actions, and probably cry herself to sleep. Like I planned to do.

The next morning I got up, and got dressed. I was ready to explain myself to her. That she was too valuable to give herself away after one night. Especially to me. I’m not perfect either, and she could do better than me. And after last night, she should know that.

I walked in the living room, and everything was too perfect. Annabel’s things were just as they were last night. Like she didn’t come home.

But, I brought her home. I came inside, and…

“Oh no…” I gasped, “She ran away…”

I looked around every where for a clue on where she was, but as I said before, everything was untouched. I buried my face in my hands and cried; I’d probably never see her again.

My crying was stopped by a light touch on my shoulder. I looked up, hoping for Annabel, but seeing Diana. She frowned, “Is Annabel gone?” I nodded violently, and looked down. “What happened?” she asked, and I told her everything, with all the voice cracks and tears.

“…And now I’ve lost her…” I said, “I lost the one person I truly love…” Diana hugged me comfortingly, until I pulled away. I stood up, and started to walk towards the door. “Where are you going?” Diana asked, and I turned to her, “I’m gonna find Annabel, and I’m gonna tell her how much she means to me.”
