*4 years later-Annabel's PoV*
Liam and I were curled up on the couch, as everyone else were sitting around celebrating Christmas; Harry and Caitlyn were sitting in the chair, whispering things to each other, as she held her now visible baby bump. I smiled, and scanned the rest of the room; 5 year old Ryan Horan, and 4 year old Zack Malik, were playing with the play keyboard and mic. I could see a band in their future. My 4 year old daughter, Heather was sitting on Uncle Niall lap, telling him about all the things ‘Santa’ had brought her. He looked up at me, and winked. No one, but Liam and I, knew that Heather wasn’t Liam’s, and we liked it that way. Diana was giving everyone eggnog, Zayn and Perrie were sitting by the fireplace, and Eleanor was laying on Louis' chest, sleeping on the floor, as he rubbed her tummy.
I was so happy to be apart of this, regardless of my past. I still visited with my therapist once a month, to prevent any more instances, but I figured I wouldn’t need her after New Year’s.
Suddenly, I felt Liam shift and walk to the kitchen. I followed him, and he stopped in the doorway. I noticed the mistletoe, and he grinned. “I know, you could have just kissed me on the couch.” I said, leaning in. Liam chuckled, letting him breath hit my lips, “Maybe, but this is more festive.” I giggled, and locked lips with him. I felt him smile, and I smiled too, until I heard Heather said, “Mommy?” I pulled away, and looked at her, “Yes, sweetheart?” “Come see what Santa brought me.” she said, grabbing my hand, and pulling me to the tree. I sat down, and looked at the room around me; I had a family, and love. Everything I had craved before.
All because Liam gave me a second chance.
