The Pit

I turned around ready to fight. I threw my first punch, which luckily landed right on there nose.

"Aww- o-ouch why would you do that?!"

That's weird for some reason the voice sounded more like a female. I was expecting more of a male kind of tone...

I look down at the girl cupping her nose. Good thing its not bleeding.

"I'm so sorry I-I wasn't sure if you were an attacker! Or some crazy person on a kidnapping spree!"

What am I saying? A crazy person on a kidnapping spree?

She got up rubbing her nose before she spoke.

*giggle*
"I'm your next door neighbor Kate Linn I just wanted to come up and say hi. And geez when did you learn to hit like that? Man your strong!"

"I don't know, guess I was born with it. about that I'm so sorry. To make up for it I was on my way to Tioga Pit, wanna come?" I say guiltily

"Sure! And its ok I understand, always gotta have a sharp eye just in case."

~ 20 minutes later ~

"Finally were here. It kinda took for ever." I say trying to catch my breath.

"Yeah...
So um what do we do now?"

"Hmm I didn't really bring anything to swim in so I guess we could just put are feet in or something."

"Okay I could do that."

I walked up to where the sand ends took off my shoes and let the tide do the work. It feels so relaxing, I soaked it in.

"Hey I know we just got here, but I'm gonna go I have to study for a test but thanks for inviting me!"

"Y-Yeah no problem."

~ 7 minutes later ~

I took a few steps back to let the wind dry off my feet before I put my shoes back on. I sat down so my legs wouldn't get sore, and started to talk to myself.

I should get home to make some lunch. I also need to study for a test coming up on Tuesday.

My feet were now dry enough to put my shoes on. I slip them and started to walk towards home.

I've been walking for 15 minutes now so I'm almost home. I felt my stomach growling again as I looked around me.

Nothing looked familiar....
