Chapter 4 - 'Ravenswood'
Toby's POV: I park my truck and step onto a lonely street. The drab and spooky feel of Ravenswood causes the hair on my neck to stand up. As I walk into town, I pull -A's letter out of my jacket pocket. I can't understand this riddle. Does the -A team have Spencer? And if they don't, what the hell is she doing in Ravenswood? I continue my search by showing Spencer's picture around town. Unfortunately, no one claims to have seen her before. While walking back to my truck, I see someone leaned against the driver's side door. As I pick up speed to see who it is, I'm pleasantly surprised to find a familiar face. It's Caleb. "Thought this was your truck." Caleb says as he walks towards me and shakes my hand. "Why aren't you with Spencer?" he asks. "I would be if I could find her." I say. "Well, she should be at the clinic by now." My head spins at Caleb's words and suddenly, I can't breathe. "What clinic?" I choke. Before Caleb can answer, my phone rings. 'Questions equal repercussions for your girlfriend. -A' My throat closes and I begin to panic. "Where's the clinic?" I ask Caleb. After he gives me directions, I jump into my truck and take off with a shot. What clinic is Caleb referring to? Is Spencer sick? As I fly down the streets of Ravenswood, my fears rise higher. After what seems like forever, I spin my truck into the clinic's parking lot. My heart drops when I see Spencer's car parked in the front. -A hasn't lead me to just any clinic. I step out of the truck and try to slow my breathing as I read the sign. 'Ravenswood Abortion Clinic'...
