Those Eyes

*HAILEIGH'S P.O.V*

"Your eyes are really beautiful" ... did he really just say that. oh god, I hope that's the alcohol talking because we have nothing in common. AT ALL!

"I'm serious, your eyes are really pretty. they make you pretty." He continued talking. I'm blushing so bad right now. My face feels like its on fire. I couldn't even look at him, my eyes were glued to the floor. "umm. Thanks?" I said as more of a question. "No worries" he replied. he could sense how nervous I was, you wanna now how I can tell? because he would chuckle to himself every time he would compliment me. he lifted my chin so I was looking into his amazing green eyes and he was looking into my blue ones. we stayed like this for what seemed like ages but in reality it was only a few seconds. We were one again brought out of our little moment when my brother knocked on the door. I abruptly looked away from Harry and started cleaning up the mess in the bathroom caused by the first aid box. I could feel Harry's eyes on me the whole time. I looked at him and he had the biggest smirk on his face, I just smiled and shook my head at him.

*HARRY'S P.O.V*

I meant what I said when I told her that her eyes are beautiful. But I can't believe I said it to her face. what an idiot. She probably thinks I'm some sort of ass now. But oh well, can't take it back now. the moment I said her eyes are beautiful she immediately looked at the ground. "I'm serious, your eyes are really pretty. the make you pretty." I complimented. She is blushing so bad right now. keeping her head down and her eyes on the ground, she muttered a simply "thanks" "no worries" I added. she looks so nervous. I chuckle to myself at the thought of me making her nervous. She still wouldn't look at me so I lifted her chin with my index finger so I could see her beautiful blue eyes. We stayed like this for a while, just looking into each others eyes and to tell you the truth, I enjoyed it. but the moment was sadly ruined when there was a knock on the door. Haileigh immediately stepped back and started packing up the first aid kit. I was leaning on the bench do nothing but admiring her amazing figure. She would get a few sneaky glances of me an she thought I didn't notice. But I did and I couldn't get the smirk of my face. Once she finished packing up, we made our way down stairs and I was greeted by a poodle. the dog was actually quite cute. "BINX!!! you made it home!" I was taken aback by Haileigh's sudden out burst and I gave her a questioning look. she answered with "I was taking Binx for a walk when I was attacked. I had to let him go so he didn't get hurt and he ran away." I nodded my head in response. that was when a guy, who looked a few years older than me, walked down the stairs and froze in his place when he saw me. "Haileigh, who is this?" he asked with a frown on his face "oh right, Jarrod this is Harry, Harry this is my brother Jarrod" Haileigh answered without taking her eyes off the playful dog. I don't think Jarrod likes me.

*JARROD'S P.O.V*

I can't believe this! Haileigh tells me everything. Why didn't she tell me about this Harry guy? Harry and I were both death staring each other and I don't think Haileigh noticed. I've got a feeling this guy doesn't like me.

"Does anyone want a drink of water?" Haileigh asked as she made her way to the kitchen. "yes please" Harry said "yeah I'll help" I answered. I followed her to the kitchen and was thinking of how I was gonna ask this question. "why didn't you tell me you were dating someone?" I decided to go for the plane and simple approach. "excuse me?" Haileigh replied a little offended by my question. "come on Hails, we used to tell each other everything. why are you now hiding things from me?" I asked with hurt in my voice "I'm not dating anyone" she replied bluntly. "oh please, I'm not stupid. I've known you your whole life" I said. I still can't believe she's hiding this from me. "well who do you think I'm dating then?" she asked crossing her arms over chest showing that she's getting pissed off. I gave her a look as if to say 'isn't it obvious?' "what, Harry? ha your kidding right? you think that Harry and I are dating? stop it, my sides hurt!" she said in between fits of laughter. I was left standing there dumbfounded. so they're not dating.. well that's a relief.

*HAILEIGH'S P.O.V*

Haha I can't believe that Jarrod thought me and Harry were dating. I mean of all people. I don't think that boys ever been so wrong in his life, oh my god. Oh well, he's only human. anyways I walk back into the lounge room and give Harry the water that he asked for. I start laughing again when I saw Harry's face. I'm not sure if he heard our conversation in the kitchen but seeing his face made me think of that discussion between my brother and I. "what are you laughing at?" Harry asked with a confused look on his face. "nothing" I answered, trying to hold in the laughter. Jarrod walks in and saw me trying to hold in my laughter "Shut Up" he grunted then ran upstairs. and that was the end of me. I couldn't hold in my laugh anymore. I was hysterically laughing and even had tears coming out of my eyes. by the end of my laughing fit I was on the ground with the dog trying to lick my face. Harry was even laughing. his laugh is so beautiful, AND HE HAS DIMPLES! I never noticed them before. he's so hot I can't belie-...ugh! stop thinking like that. he's not interested in me anyways.

"Well I better get going" he said with a sad look on his face "ok. I'll see you at school?" "yeah, sure" he said unsure. I just brushed it off and walked him to the door. "Bye Harry" I said politely "goodnight beautiful" he said. and with that he was on his way. I offered him a lift but he said he didn't live far from here so, yeah.

I walked back inside and looked at the clock on the wall. wow! it's already 11:30pm. Mums not home, she had a late meeting at her school, that's the only reason I'm still up.
