He's a fucking dick. Just ignore him Adelaide. Don't even look at him. The classroom erupted into laughter, drowning out her hateful thoughts about the misogynistic boy. A girl had walked up to the professor to turn in her exam, and Horan caught her bent over, picking up her fallen pencil. Cue the catcalling. Adelaide was fed up with this monthly, sometimes bi-monthly, occurrence whenever he decided to show up to class.

Adelaide finished her exam without being interrupted by some disgusting comment and walked towards her favorite spot to eat. The day's event was still fresh in her mind, and she decided enough was enough. Someone had to put Horan in his place, and it wasn't going to be the girls whose panties dropped at the sight of his ice-cold eyes, nor his friends, who worshipped him though every heart he broke, and every day he's ruined.

Speak of the Devil, Adelaide had spotted him laughing with his friends. Different group than usual, but here it goes. She strutted right up to the mass of men, pushed past them, and stuck her finger right in Horan's shoulder.

"Look I don't know if it's because your ass has gotten rejected several times or because you have major mommy issues, but you need to realize that your opinion is ignorant as hell. Are you that intimidated by women that you believe if given more power, people will realize that we are as "acceptable" as men? Each person in the world makes up less than one percent of the earth's population. You, as well as every other man, are equal in existence to a woman. Why can't your small brain comprehend that we deserve the same amount of respect as your buddies?"

What Adelaide didn't realize was that this Horan was wearing slightly different clothes than the one from this morning, that his friends were actually famous for being the most genuine guys on campus. That this Horan, the one in standing in front of her with a mixture of confusion and shock on his face, was Niall and most definitely not James.

"I'm not sure who you are or what James has done to you, but I'm incredibly sorry on his behalf and I will talk to him when we get home today. I'm guessing it had to be very bad if it made you snap as you did now." Niall replied, amazingly calm for someone who just witnessed a usually shy girl rant at him. His kindness only made Adelaide get red — well, even more red. She couldn't believe that she just embarrassed herself in front of Niall Horan and his best mates, all of them just as nice as the next.

"Uh, um, I- I'm- I should- Yea, sorry. So sorry, I'm just gonna- yea." Adelaide made her way out of the circle of friends and hoped this would blow over quickly amongst his friends. I mean, he'll forget all about it tomorrow, and maybe James will find out it was meant for him and take it as a warning? Yea, totally.
