ㄴ the first kiss

It had been months since they've last became friends and now, Taehyung claimed that they were best friends. Taehyung always smiled ever so brightly at Jungkook and made his stomach flip with butterflies. They were very close even though lots of girls and boys wanted to be Jungkook's friend.

"Kookie, buy me those buns, please." Taehyung pleaded, clinging on his arms. For the past two minutes, Taehyung has been nagging Jungkook to buy him buns. "Please, you're my best friend." Taehyung pleaded with a pout. "I'll go find a new best friend." Jungkook joked, but he didn't realized Taehyung flinching because of his words.

After that, Taehyung quiet down and sat on the bench outside their school. "Are you mad?" Jungkook asked when he realized Taehyung had gotten quiet. "No." The older boy simply replied. "Are you sure?" Jungkook insisted. "Yes." Taehyung answered without looking at Jungkook.

"Are you really, really sure?" Jungkook scooted closer to him. "I said I'm fine!" Taehyung bursted. Jungkook chuckled and hugged the older. "You're so cute when you're mad. I'll go buy you those buns." He pecked Taehyung's cheek and walked to the stand where they were selling them. Kissing on each other's cheeks was so normal to them. Taehyung had started it, adding to his "I'm very clingy."

"Here you go." Jungkook handed him two buns. Taehyung quickly snatched the buns from Jungkook's hand and started to gobble them. "Tank quu, kookieew." Taehyung said while eating. Jungkook smiled, watching his crush eat with his cute glasses on. "Hmm?" Taehyung shoved his half eaten bun in front of Jungkook's mouth. The boy shook his head not wanting to eat. "C'mon, open your mouth." Taehyung insisted. He obeyed and opened his mouth.

Taehyung grinned and started eating again. "Thank you, Kookie." Taehyung said after he was done. "Anything for you." Taehyung blushed and threw the wrapper in the trash can.

Taehyung was no where to be found. Jungkook had been looking for the older the past five minutes and had even texted him but couldn't find him. It was lunch time and usually, Taehyung would always sprint to Jungkook's class so they could go eat already, but Taehyung didn't come sprinting to Jungkook's class and neither did he showed up at their usually table.

Taehyung was no where to be. Jungkook walked up to the boys' restrooms and couldn't find Taehyung. Jungkook frustratedly ruffled his hair, worried. "Where are you?" He mumbled to himself. He then walked outside and looked around.

A little far, there was a boy who looked like Taehyung with his knees brought up and head lowed down. He was sitting under a tree with his bag beside him. Jungkook ran up to him and sat down in front of the boy who was now sobbing. "H-hey, hey why are you crying? Are you okay? What kind of question was that, you obviously aren't. What happened, Tae?" He pulled the sobbing boy closer and hugged him.

"Tae, what happened?" Taehyung wrapped his arms around the boy's waist, still crying. "It's okay. I'm right now." Jungkook chanted.

"Am I in your way of making new friends?" Taehyung finally said after few minutes of crying. "Wha-what?" Jungkook tried to pull away but Taehyung tightened the hug. "Am I in your way of making new friends? An ugly nerd like me. I forced you to be my friends, didn't I? I'm sorry." Taehyung kept on mumbling.

"Taehyung-"

"I am. I'm in your way. I'm sorry." He interrupted.

"Taehyung, listen-"

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry I forced you to be my friend. I'm such a horrible person." He continued.

"Taehyung listen to me!" The said boy flinched.

"What makes you think you're in the way?" He softly asked, caressing Taehyung's hair. "Those girls, they said that I'm an ugly nerd and that I was in your way to make friends with them. Is it true, Jungkook? Am I in the way? I'm sorry."

"What girls? And why would you believe them? I'm fine with being your friend only. I don't need them, all I need is you and that's enough. You're not an ugly nerd, you're the most beautiful person I've ever known. You're not even a horrible person, that word doesn't even come close to being you. You're the most amazing person ever. I wish I could show you." He finished.

"Taehyung, you're my best friend and I love you so much." Jungkook pulled away this time and stared at the sniffing boy. He smiled and wiped away the tears in Taehyung's eyes. The sobbing boy blinked several times staring back at the boy in front of him. Soon enough, they both leaned in closer and closer until finally their lips were connected.

An innocent first kiss was shared. Jungkook smiled and rested his hands on Taehyung's waist while Taehyung's went up to his neck. When they pulled away from their kiss, Taehyung shyly looked down blushing.
