Sans POV

Ugh why is Papyrus late? He was suppose to be back by now. He is fixing dinner for us. He said that he was going to fix the human and bring them back. Before he left, we got into a fight. One of the things I most regret.
"SANS I WILL BE BACK. I AM GOING TO CATCH THIS HUMAN AND BE PART OF THE ROYAL GUARD." said Papyrus.
"paps i think you should stay away from the human. they have dust all over them. i want you to be okay,"
"DO YOU NOT HAVE FAITH IN ME? I WILL MAKE THEM A BETTER PERSON. WHO WOULD BE A BETTER TEACHER THAN THE GREAT PAPYRUS?"
I ran up to give him a hug. He seem surprised by my action but give me one back. I looked him in his um.. eyes. I just have a bad feeling that he will have a bad time. I don't want to lose him. He is one of the best things in this world to me.
"papyrus, I love you bro."
"I DON'T KNOW WHY YOU ARE SAYING THAT BUT I LOVE YOU TOO SANS," then like that he left.
I walk out of the house. The only sounds that could be heard was the crunching of the snow under my feet. It was quiet all around. Everyone heard that there was a monster killing other monster, but it turned out to be a human. The human didn't show any emotions at all. They kinda seem familiar, like I meet them before.
I got to the place where papy said he was going to meet the human. I saw some small footsteps in the snow walk up and pass a pile of snow. I was about to turn around until I saw it.
A red scarf on top of the pile. I step close to it and I broke down to me knees. The scarf was Papyrus'. He wore it wherever he would go, even in the Hotlands when it was super hot at. It is his tread mark. So.. That would mean the the pile is not snow but.....
I got up and grab his scarf. I started to put his.. dust on his scarf and made it into a pouch. I walked house ever so slowly knowing that now it is mine. When I got there, I just stood there. My feet didn't want to move or I didn't want to. I just wanted to walk from this horrible dream and be sitting with Papyrus and watching MTT.
I finally walk in and up to his room. I put his dust and scarf on his bed. At least, now he can drive his rad car.. That is when I broke down. My parents are gone, and now my only family I had left is.. gone.

~ Time skip ~

I was staring at the kid. They had a creepy smile that stocked to their face. I know they are ready, so am I. Their soul pops up and I say my lines.
" It's a wonderful day out. Birds are singing, flowers are blooming. On days like these, kids like you.... Should Be Burning In Hell."
My left eye turned blue and all of my power went though me. I kid went to fight and dodged their attack. I always wonder why people did not just dodged.
It been a while and I am starting to get tired. I am not used to all this fighting. When the kid dies, I think it is over but they come back every time. I wondered what Papyrus would do. He would spare the kid and give them a hug. So for giggles, I said I would spare them. They looked at me and by the looked at it, they start to cry. They ran up to me and gave me a hug. I looked down and saw that they was smiling, but not the creepy one. It was a friendly smile, one that was full of mercy. Then....
A sharp pain went though my back. The child look surprised as well me. I let my guard down and now I am bleeding.
"Welp I guess you can say, I been backstabbed,"
I could feel the blood run down my back. I quit fighting, now I want to go home. I told the kid that I am going to Grillby's. I asked if Papyrus if he wanted anything, because I know I will be with him.
I walked down the quiet path. Everyone died or went away. Here I am going to die in the underground. At least, I will be with my brother. I came to the house and went to Papyrus' room. There was his scarf and his dust. I laid beside them and closed me eyes.
I opened my eyes and said " hi papy. nice to see you again."

That is when I woke up...
