Rachel's POV
Well maybe now I should talk about who I am. I'm Rachel Adams I'm 18 years old and an aspiring actress. I grew up without a dad, only a mom. I have a sister named Gia (yup the 5 year old) and an 11 year old brother named Luke who sometimes acts like he's older but it's because mom always tells him he's the man of the house.
Another thing about me is, I'm diabetic. I have a lot to worry about being on my own but I've had diabetes since I was 8, after 10 years I think I can handle myself.
Living with diabetes doesn't make me different other than I have to check my sugars and take insulin and keep on top of myself, other than that I can still be a normal 18 year old girl and do what everyone else does. I've never held back on anything I like to show people I can do it all no matter what, when people hear I have diabetes and ask how I do it I just tell them that nothing can hold you back all it takes is a little extra effort for me.
