'Jinnie?! Minnie?!'

As Hoseok stumbled to within the other two's reach, the eldest began laughing, and soon, so did the blonde head. 'Wait... What???' There were already tears emerging from the tall brunette's warm eyes, as he hiccuped and pointed at the youngest. 'H-Hopie, you— hic! You should've seen yourself— hic!' As Yoongi mumbled something to himself and sat upright, his half lidded eyes zooming at the sight in front of him (Jin's legs), making him think twice. The poofy haired boy puffed his cheeks, pouting at the same time. 'Not funny guys! I really thought something was going to happen!' He stomped his feet childishly, making the older two giggle even more. 'Awh, Seok-Seok, you're just so adorable~' Yoongi only muttered it, but it was loud enough for the other two to hear clearly. Hoseok's ears reddened, as well as his cheeks, as his frustration melted away. Did... he mean that? As Seokjin continued hiccuping, his feet felt funny and wobbly. What's going on? Maybe I'm just tired, he thought to himself, no big deal. Turning around casually, he gasped silently, looking at the bright sun partially hide behind light greyish clouds with little opacity, the sky a breath-taking orange colour. He sat down beside the gray eyed boy, and signalled the youngest to sit beside the said male, gently sticking his pink tongue out, before a hiccup emerged, causing his mouth to open slightly.

'This— hic! Sunset really is beautiful.'

'Isn't this our first time watching the sun set together?'

'Well, it's really Jinnie's first time seeing a sun set.'

'Hic! Yeah, that's true. I hope I get to see more sunsets.'

'There's so many different landscapes land has to offer.'

'We should see all of it...'

'...Hic!'

'Seo...'

'...'

'...Hic!'

'...'

'...'

'Oh my god, Minnie?'

'He fainted again?! Hic!'

'B-but, he hasn't fainted in three weeks!'

'Three... weeks?'

'Yeah, three weeks!'

'Exactly— hic! Three weeks?'

'Well... maybe? Why?'

'...Hic!'

'...'

'Oh no.'

'Why, what's... oh. Uh oh.'

As the sun disappeared below the horizon, and the sky became a navy blue speckled with billions of stars, light years away, decorating the night blanket like freckles, Seokjin felt his chest tightening, making him clutch his damp top tightly. As the cool tide rose higher, the clear water flushed with force, masking their legs, nearly engulfing Yoongi's entire body as if it was a blanket, his pale face almost lifeless in the dark. Wheezing almost uncontrollably, the tall brunette managed to barely spill out words, 'W...wait... here...'. He couldn't feel his legs anymore, he couldn't think clearly either, but the mermaid prince's instincts told him that his time was up, and he had to return to the waters. But he did not want to go back, not without his friends. Or at least, not without helping his unconscious friend. He hoped.
