Remus' POV

I walked quickly through the halls of Hogwarts to escape the approaching Ravenclaw 7th years. I kept my head down as they called out, "Hey! Mutated freak!" They called out. I kept walking with my head down. "You listen to me!" He said as he grabbed my arm. The two others held me back so I wouldn't fight. Not that I would anyway.

"Looks like the loser is scared," He taunted looking towards me. I felt a fist connect to my chest. I scrunched my face in pain. "Stop," I muttered. I heard them laugh. He whispered an incantation that I believed it would hold me back. I was right.

The other two joined him and they both punched me at the same time at my face. I winced in pain. I groaned.

I felt another connect to my chest again. Near my heart this time. Another one near my stomach. A few more punches hit me and hit me. I didn't know I could last this long. Blood stained my face and chest. "Remus!" I heard someone shout. Sirius.

"Siri!" I tried calling out. Instantly, there was three flashes of light and the Ravenclaws dropped. I felt my arms and legs get released and I fell to the ground. This wasn't too bad, I thought. "Full moon is worse," I muttered. I felt someone sit down next to me. "Rem? Moony? Moons? Remmy? Lu-" Sirius started. "I'm fine, Pads," I said chuckling. I felt him run his hands against my chest to check the wounds. Then he felt my face. "Where does it hurt?" He asked frantically.

Everywhere, I was going to say.

"My heart," I said pointing to my heart. I expected hugs, kisses, sweet nothings, because, well, he is my boyfriend. But no.

"I got just the thing!" He exclaimed while digging into his pocket. I tilted my head to the right. What was he doing?

He pulled out a small band-aid muggle thing. I heard about them. He peeled off the backing and placed it right over my heart. Right on my clothes. "All better?" He said while picking me up. I smiled and said, "Nerd."

"But you love me," He said.

"Can't and will not deny it," I sighed snuggling into his shirt as he carried me to the Hospital Wing.

No offense to any Ravenclaws btw.
