I was sitting outside the room where my parents were talking to my guidance counselor. I almost broke a girls arm so what. Then my phone went off.

I giggled at his name. It wasn't funny but it was an inside joke so I found it funny.
I swiped it side ways and typed in my password
'7278' i mumbled as my phone unlocked
He sent me this snapchat; before he asked how I smile (because I never smile) and I said I don't know how I smile because I never do. So he sent me this:

I laughed at his face. He looked so dumb.
I send one back of me in mid laughter.
Kyle and I have been friends for about four years. We've seen each other at our worst and our best so I wasn't worried about sending him this photo.
"You should be in class" a voice rang out as it made me stutter. "But miss my parents are in there-" "Okay, but you should still be in class. So get there"
I rolled my eyes, gathered my things from the floor (what was a history notebook, a pencil and my phone). Then I walked in the washroom and sat on one of the counters in the back.
I looked At my phone

The three were just him looking cute as always. I sent back the same last pose he did and said "oooOoooOooo three snaps in a row I feel loved"
Well let me tell you who I am, my name is holly. I'm sixteen and I'm in my last year of high school. I'm dropping out after this year. My parents are shipping me off to live in California with my cousin maddy. She's eighteen and pretty cool I guess.
My phone buzzed

I opened his snapchat
It was just him with his tongue out.
I laughed and sent one back
My phone buzzed once again.
I looked at my phone expecting it was Kyle...but it was my best friend and cousin ady.
>Ady: hey. I'm outside of your school we should hanggggg >me: wtf why are you not in school?
She was a year younger than me and she lived in the same town, except she went to a different school than me (a private school, I'm in a public)
>Ady: well I don't wanna be in school >me: ugh fine I'm coming
I left the washroom, went to the front doors and left the school.
When I left the school she was nowhere to be seen.
"Why are you not in class" a voice rang out making me fall because it scared me.
I looked up and saw my dad in his car.
My parents never really loved each other. So they got a divorce. Today was the first day they really were in the same room together in three years.
"Oh, hi dad" I smiled "Let me guess. It's Friday, and you don't wanna finish the last three hours of school. So you decided to walk home" "Yup. Well actually--" I decided not to tell him about ady. "Yup." I answered finally
"Well I guess I can take you out of school early"
I smiled. I really love my dad. He was not as strict as my mom. My dad would let me hang out with guys, have internet friends (like Kyle), have boyfriends/ girlfriends, and really just let me do whatever. My mom always yells at me. Don't get me wrong I love her but my dad...just gets me more.
"Yes, thanks dad" I smile getting into his Car
"You have to go to your moms this weekend.." "Wait, what why?" "I have to go see your cousin before you move out with her." "Oh...do I have too. Can't I just go with ady, or like-" "No.. You have to be with your mom" "O-okay" I sat quietly

My dad walked into my room.
"Hi dad" I smile "Hey."
"Hi mr. Father figure" Kyle yelled (we were on skype) "Hi Kyle" my father smiled
"Well holly I need to tell you something" my dad started "Yeah?" I asked "You're actually going to California today" he yelled in excitement "Wait wait wait. Really? Like no more school for the rest of the year?" "No. You are gonna start school there"
