If you didn't know by now, based on the amount of time that has passed throughout the book, Reyna and Kennedy are 19 and out of school now. Rell and Kell are 26. King is 19. Chance is 21 and Caiden is 4.

Reyna

As I watched the heated exchange of words, I began to grow scared and happy at the same time. Something felt off... "Aahh, say goodbye to your boyfriend sweety this will be the LAST time you see him." my dad walked in saying, and then leaving as quick as he came. I've banged my fist against the wall as hard as I could, out of frustration and then one of the panels fell off to reveal a cheap lock box. I looked around and remembered that there were cameras everywhere. I took out the remote that shut off the cameras and quickly pressed the off button. since the chains on my hands were a little long, I could reach the lockbox and I broke it open. It had a master remote, that seemed like it controlled every electronic thing in the house, a map of the house and a set of keys. I took a wild guess, and tried to see if the keys would fit in my shackles. They worked, I was rejoiced. But not for long when I remembered that my dad was going to kill King. I took the remote and unlocked the electronically closed door.

*Click Clack*

I took the map out and one room had a big red X on it. Hey if it works for Dora, then it just might work for me. I press the unlock button on the remote, then I walked into the room. It had weapons everywhere. This bitch was packing. I strapped up like I was ready for war. King and I weren't going without a fight. I put that on my kids.

I heard a loud three bangs and looked around. Nobody was in sight. It sounded like it had come from the basement. "Bitch, who you got in here?" I whisper irritated. I pull out my phone and tell Rell, to suit up and bring back-up. I heard more shots fired, I start looking around. I wanted to leave but I remembered Reyna was still in here and I wasn't gonna do her like that. I pistol whip Evelyn and knock her out, then tied her up so she didn't escape. I said a prayer then opened the door to the basement. It was a bloody battlefield. I saw Reyna fighting two of the biggest niggas I ever seen. She was handling that like a G. Since when did she learn all this new shit? That's my girl though, she gonna be 19 handling shit like a grown woman! I felt a bullet graze my arm as I was walking. I winced, but took it like a man. I capped those two niggas in their heads and grabbed Rey. It felt like, it was just us, as bullets flew around us. We had a Bonnie and Clyde moment, I finally realized that, no matter what she would ride for me and never lie to me, I'm in love with this girl . It felt, almost as if we were in a movie or book, where everything comes together, but not quite. Time seemed to slow down, maybe even freeze. I kissed her like it was the first time, those same lips that tasted like maraschino cherries, Then we heard the door upstairs cave in. Is it Rell?

Kennedy

I walked into the house with the happiest attitude, with Chance and Caiden trailing in behind me. "I'm home!!" I yelled, and nobody came. So I repeated myself. Then Rell came and smacked the dog shit out of me. "Where were you?! We in a state of depression and anger, and you're just missing and shit!" Rell screamed, while Kell came in with him. Chance pulled out his gun. "Yo! This a set-up! Kennedy, I thought we was boys, but you got me and my kid around here with Killer and Real! If imma die, I'm going out a real nigga, I thought you was different man." he said pointing the gun at all of us. And holding a crying Caiden who was trying to get to the men he now called uncles. "Naww, nigga we don't got beef no more. In fact, my lil nigga Caiden call me Uncle Kell. We Reyna and Kennedy's brothers" Kell tried to explain. But I was still stuck on why they would be grieving. Chance seemed taken back from what he had just learned. "Uncle Rell! Uncle Kell! Y'all niggas don't call me no more!" Caiden outspoken ass had to say. We bust out laughing cause we say every curse word in front of Caiden and he fraud like he didn't hear us. The tension quickly cleared throughout the room, but then Rell and Kell seemed to revert back to their said stage. "What's wrong man?" Chance asks. "Well Reyna got kidnapped, by this crazy bitch!" Kell screamed. I was shocked because they've probably been trying to contact me this entire time. I felt bad as fuck. Just then Rell's phone dinged. He looked at it then looked up. He gave me a silent look that told me it was time to go get OUR sister.
