*Three Weeks Ago*
I walked into the classroom that held my first period History class according to my schedule with my head down. I tried to ignore all of the various faces staring at me when I opened the door. The teacher turned around to look at me, and I lifted my head up when I got to him.
"Class, I'd like you to meet our new student, Avaline Tudor." I glanced at my feet nervously. "Avaline", the teacher continued, "You can have a seat over there by the window."
I nodded, quietly walking over, ignoring the occasional whispers, trying my hardest not to make eye contact with any of the other students. I sat down, pulling out a black notebook and pen, my black hair shielding myself from the rest of the class, and began copying the notes from the board.

When the bell finally rang, I turned to put my stuff in my bag, and noticed the boy next to me was looking at me. When he saw I caught him, he quickly looked away, grabbed his bookbag, and walked out of the room. Man, was he attractive.
I sighed. This was going to be a rough year.
Cayden's Pov-
When the new student, Avaline, came in the room, I gasped. She was beautiful, tall, with straight, dark jet black hair, and bright blue eyes. When I say bright blue eyes, I'm not kidding you. I saw her gorgeous eyes nervously skim the floor, staring at her neon green and black Vans.
Then, Mr. Wilson told her to go to her seat, which happened to be right next to the window. Right. Where. I. Was. Sitting. She quietly sauntered over, not even looking up once. She placed her backpack in the isle, and started copying down the notes from the board. Every now and then, I saw her doodle a little in the margin of her notebook, and realized how good of an artist she was.
When the bell finally rang, I glanced over at her again, watching her fumble with her pencil every now and again, and occasionally bite the end of it. I desperately wanted to say something, even a "Hi", but the shy side of me came out. Then, all of a sudden, she tilted her head up from her bookbag, getting ready to stand up, catching my eye. I quickly looked away.
Crap! She's going to think I'm some creeper!, I thought. Great. I grabbed my bookbag and hurried out of the classroom. Way to go, Cayden. It's going to be a long year.

*Present Time*
Avaline's POV-When school finally ended, I headed towards my car, earbuds in and music playing, my backpack slung over my shoulder. I reached for my keys in my pocket, as the next song changed.
Instead of being the normal person I wish I was, I tripped over a stupid rock, as my bookbag slipped off of my shoulder, spilling its contents everywhere, I watched my keys skid across the pavement. I mentally face-palmed myself, hurridly trying to put everything back in my bag. I looked up as I saw a pair of grey Vans near me. I met my eyes with his gorgeous green ones, and guess who it happened to be. It was Cayden, the guy I've had a crush on ever since I got to the school, but I've only talked to briefly.
"Are you okay?", said Cayden. Dang, his raspy voice killed me.
I blushed, looking down. "Uhhh.. Yeah, I'm fine."
He smiled, picking my keys up off the ground, flipping his perfect dark brown hair out of his eyes. He handed me the keys, holding my gaze a few seconds afterwards, then looked down, and helped me pile the stuff back into my bag.
"Here," He replied.
We finished putting everything back into my bag, and stood up.
"Well, see you around, Avaline." He gave me the most gorgeous smile ever.
Okay I might sound completely crazy, or insane, but trust me, if you heard his voice, you'd be as mesmerized as I have been. And, oh gosh, the way he said my name..that, my friend, literally melted my heart. I mean what do I know? I probably seem like some love struck teen (even though I am one..).
I smiled back. "See ya."
I walked towards my car, smiling like an idiot, and mentally face-palmed myself again.
Ugh, Avaline, you're such a freaking weirdo.
It wasn't my fault I completely and honestly fell for him. Darn those good looks.
I laughed silently to myself, opening my car door.

Cayden's POV-
I smiled to myself as she walked away. God, she was beautiful. I couldn't get over how gorgeous she was. She got into her car, as I walked towards mine. I watched as she pulled out in front of me exiting the parking lot, unaware of me watching as she jammed out to what ever song played on the radio.
