Thanks to that dickhead Nate I'm late and lost. Apparently he wasn't planning to walk me to class. Just thinking about what happened before is making me angry all over again.
Flashback
We been walking for a few minutes now and neither of us has said anything. Not that I was complaining.
After walking for a few more minutes he stopped and turn to face me.
"This is my stop. I guess I'll see you later"
"I thought you were walking me to my class" I said with a slight frown.
"I'm flattered that you think I'm that nice but your class is on the second floor" he said as if it was the most obvious thing ever.
"And why would I go all the way over there when my class is so close?" he finished with a grin.
"So let me get this straight" I said taking a step forward.
I was getting angrier by the second. Its either he was ignoring it or he was completely oblivious to that fact but either way it was pissing me off.
"I followed you all the way over here and even though you were aware of the fact that I thought you were showing me my class, which is by the way on the next floor, you didn't say anything until now?"
My voice was raising higher and higher by the time I was done I was shouting.
"Hold on for a minute let me think about that" he then look up as if searching for an answer.
"Yup" he answered with a grin.
That was it the last straw. I couldn't take it any longer. I let out all the anger I was feeling. On his face. I punched him hard enough for his nose to start bleeding but not hard enough to break it.
I then walk away leaving him groaning in pain on the floor.
End of flashback
Now here I am walking down the hall of the second floor going from door to door looking for my class.
This is now the fifth door that I am going to.
"Is this by chance AP math?" I asked for the fifth time this morning.
"I'm sorry sweetie" a sweet old lady answered from behind the teacher's desk.
Now I was very angry. If it wasn't for that asshole Nate I would have been enjoying maths right now. After going to six classes only to be turned away I'm slowly giving up. At this point any class will do.
Storming through the door of the next class I walked up to the teacher, who was a young teacher looking no older than 25, and slammed my hands down on the desk.
"Listen Mr, I'm going to sit in this classroom whether you like it or not because I'm tired of walking around looking for a stupid maths class, which I have been doing for hours, well minutes actually but you get my point."
He looked a little surprised by my sudden appearance but smiled as if he was enjoying an inside joke. I even heard people laughing behind me but I could care less.
"Your name?"
"Rebbeca James"
"Ok Miss James, have a seat." he gestured to the empty seat at the front.
I quickly took a seat and took out my book. Ok not because its not Math mean I will just sit here and do nothing.
"As I was saying before I was so rudely interrupted" he looked at me pointedly while I flash him a grin.
"In this class I will be partnering two people together randomly. And it changes in every class unless there is a problem between both individual. Then you will stay partnered up until whatever it is, is resolved. So everyone gets a chance to know their classmates better and everyone gets along just fine."
I really don't think that would work but hey, I am certainly not the teacher. So whatever he says goes.
"Since there is only ten minutes left I will allow you to talk between yourselves"
This is the aftermath of being new, I had no one to talk among. It kinda sucked but instead of sulking I took out my favorite black and white scull earpiece.
Then I felt someone tap me on my shoulder. Even though I felt a little irritated, I smiled. Knowing I had to make friends somehow and being mean wasn't a way to do that.
I look up to see a girl with a heart shaped face, blonde hair and hazel eyes dressed in beige cotton sweater, a size or two bigger than her and a pink pumpkin skirt with black converse. All designers but I didn't see how any of them go together.
"Hi" she said shyly. "My name is Lydia but you can call me Lyd, everybody does"
"Well since I'm not everybody, I'll call you Dia. My name-"
"Becca" she cut me off " I know, everyone in this class knows. After your oh so dramatic entrance, I'm not sure anyone could forget."
"My dad always told me that I'm sarcastic and dramatic all rolled up into a body. But you can be your own judge of that" I said shrugging.
"Judging from this morning I could see that you had problem finding your class"
"The map is a piece of shit. Why make it if I can't understand it?"
She then clapped her hands and grinned a me.
"I have taken it upon myself to be your tour guide" she paused "Hand me your schedule"
Silently I passed it to her. After some mhmm's and ahh's she turned to me with a grin on her face.
"We have AP Math, AP Biology and PE together. The rest I'll show you."
" So that means I'm sitting in AP Math right now?"
"Yup"
I jumped up and fist pumped the air shouting yes. The class was then silent and all eyes were on me.
"Sorry about that. Just one of my rare moment of happiness" I said then slid back into my seat.
Most of them laughed at me, even the teacher smiled and shook his head going back to what he was doing. Then the bell rang and as usual everyone rushed out. Everyone except me. Hurrying makes no sense to me. It just uses a lot more energy and I'm not into wasting energy.
"You do know we have a class to get to, right?" Dia said from beside me.
"Yup" I said poping the 'p'.
"Planning on getting up anytime soon?"
"Nope" Once again popping the 'p'.
"Ok" she said taking a seat next to me.
Did she really think I wasn't going to class? No time to find out sadly we're gonna be late. I grabbed my bag and her arm exiting the class while waving to the teacher.
"Lead the way missy"
