Josh's pov

I woke up in my old bed from when I was a teenager and sit up and I groan because the sun is shining bright in my eyes. I take my phone off the charger and see no calls or texts from Tyler. Josh misses Tyler a lot and he wonders why Tyler declined when he offered for Tyler to come. He always says yes and my parents love him. I get up and almost walk downstairs when I realize I'm only in my boxers. So I go back in my room and change. Then I go down stairs and I am greeted by mother and father and delicious banana and chocolate pancakes. One the family's favorites but sadly It gets ruined because Tyler's favorite thing to eat when he is at my parents house is the pancakes. But I dig in anyway and immediately forget about all of that it is so good. Once he finished he headed back up the stairs and into the bathroom and brushed his teeth and did his hair. Even though he keeps it messy so he just brushes it then he slips on his shoes. He tells his mom and dad bye and walks out the door. I then go to the music store and looked around and bought a few good records then he meets up with his friend Mel and gets some tea and coffee.

Mel: so how are you and Tyler doing
Josh: oh we're doing fine but I wanted to tell you something about that
Mel: ya what is it you can tell me anything

Mel: woah there slow down what was that josh

Josh lets go a breathe he didn't even know he was holding and his cheeks turn a slight pink shade

Josh: I think I might have feelings for Tyler but I don't know what to do because I haven't figured out what I want yet
Mel: well I think once you've made your mind up and if you do truly have feelings for Tyler then I think you should tell him .
Josh: but what if he says he doesn't feel the same way and everything gets awkward and then he leaves me if he leaves me I don't know what I am going to do with my life
Mel: I am sure that won't happen now give it a try but I do have to go before I get in trouble for being home late bye

Mel stands up and so do I and we hug and I thank her then I walk out the door and walk home once I get home I tell my parents I will be in the basement. I trudge down there and go straight to my drum set and start playing random stuff for about two hours. later my mom calls me for dinner and we eat then I clean up the dishes. After that I go upstairs and get some pj's and go into the bathroom and take a shower. I get done with my shower and dry my body. then wrap the towel around my waist and I wrap a towel around my hair. then once I get to my room I get my sweatpants and a t-shirt. I head downstairs and say goodnight to my parents and go back upstairs. I climb into bed and go to sleep. how am I going to survive these next few days without Tyler.
