I woke up to the sound of my mother yelling my name up the stairs. Always nice. I slowly got out of bed and walked to my wardrobe.
New school Dan I thought. Need to make them think your not as half as nerdy as you are.
I ended up picking my favorite top and some black skinny jeans. You see all these people in the movies who get kicked out of school for kicking some assholes ass but not me. I was bullied. Better not tell anyone that though...they might think I'm pathetic.
I brushed my teeth and went downstairs.
"Hiya sweetie" my mum said rushing around the kitchen as usual. "What do you want for breakfast?" She asked.
"Mum, mum sit down. Its about time I make you something"
She sat down and smiled at me. I made her her favourite, toast and eggs. As soon as I did that I kissed her forehead and walked out.
I got to the gates of the school. New school. New beginning...right?
I walked to the head teachers office.
"Ah Daniel! Just on time" she smiled. I hate it when teachers smile at me. Trying to make up for the fact the are all devils.
"My names Mrs. Smithfield. Phil here is going to show you around" as she was saying this the student walked through the door.
"Hi I'm Phil" he smiled.
"H...h..hi I'm Dan" I smiled back. I looked at him for a little longer until he grabbed my arm and took me around the school.
"I only did this so I could get out of lessons today" he laughed looking at me. He probably saw I looked a little hurt.
"B..but of course meeting you was amazing. You are very nice, you look pretty good to gonna get a few ladies chasing after you" he grinned again.
"You really think so?" He nodded. "Well thanks" I smiled.
"We are gonna get on great, maybe even become best friends!" He cheered.
I never even though I was gonna make a friend let alone a best friend.
"What's your full name?" I asked.
"Philip Lester" he said proudly. "Yours?"
"Daniel Howell" I smiled.
"Well Dan Howell me and you are gonna get on just great" he smiled.
