As we were walking around the bell for lunch went.
"Wanna sit with me and my friends?" He asked. I nodded.
We walked over to a round bench under a tree. It had a few people around it.
"Hey guys!" Phil said. "This is my new friend Dan Howell, he joined today".
Everyone's faces turned to look at me. They all smiled which made me feel better.
"Right so Dan, this is Joe, Zoe, Alfie, Tyler, Connor, Chris and Louise" he said pointing to each person. When they heard their name they smiled and waved.
I sat down next to Phil. They were all laughing and joking. I didn't say a word. Phil looked at me.
"Hey Dan are you okay?" He asked.
"Yeah, yeah I'm great. Just I feel like I'm intruding" I sighed.
"I'm going to talk to Dan in private guys we will be back soon" he smiled.
He took me a little further away than the tree and sat down.
"What's up? Why do you feel like your Intruding?" He asked.
"I just hear you joking and feel like I don't belong" I said looking at my hands.
"Dan I like you, you seem like a great person. Please don't feel like that I want us to be friends" he smiled.
"Okay I'll try talk more. But just because you wanted me to" I laughed.
I like Phil. I think me and him are gonna get on really well.
The day past and then the end of the day bell went. Everyone gets excited about that. Finally they can go home! But not me.
I have to go home to my drunk and abusive dad.
