The way the warm California air hit my face as I exited the building was so annoying. I hated how hot it got here but I wouldn't dream of moving out of state. A smile crossed my face as I notice a familiar boy waiting for me.
"Zander. It's so good to see you." I smile as I approach his tall figure. He turns around and smiles.
"Hey I'll call you back later. Yeah I found her or she found me. I'll see you guys in a bit." I stood there waiting for his hug "yes Andy. Okay bye." He slips his phone into the pocket of his jeans.
"Hey there Belle" I smiled up at him. I love this boy. I am just a friend and coworker to him, but I want to be so much more. I love him so much. I love every little thing he does. It's absolutely frustrating how perfect he is. I hugged him. Tight. As if it was the last time I'd see him.
He chuckles lowly and pulls away holding onto my shoulders. A smile rested on my face as he looked at me. "I'm glad we are able to hang out. How are you feeling?"
Ugh that question. "How are you feeling?" If I had a penny for every time I've hear that; I'd be a billionaire.
"I'm fine." I lie with a smile plastered onto my face. That fake smile quickly turns to a real one as soon as his smile gets bigger and his dimples show. "How about yourself?" I question genuinely interested.
"I'm great. Thanks for asking." He gives me one last warm smile. "So where to?"
I look around "what do you want to do?"
"We could go shopping or out for lunch or a snack or we could head back to my place. The boys are there and a few new people we are just kicking back and there's pizza and snacks already there." I kinda sigh inside I wanted it to be just us but I can compromise.
"Let's just go over to your place then." I forced another smile.
"Are you sure?" He questions
"Yeah. It should be fun." He nods
