Strange Lands

-Lucy's POV-

When I woke up, I was in a hospital looking room... Strange. When I look around I see a lady in a very elegant dress. She looked really fragile... And in her late 50's... Maybe older. Oh well.

Once she realized I was awake, she rushed over to me. "Are you alright child?" Huh?

"Yeah I-I'm fine..." She sighed in relief.

"That's good to hear."

"So, what happened anyway?"

"One of our scouts thought you were an intruder and shot you with a dart gun with sleeping serum. Once he knew who you were he felt extreme regret, however, he is going through training again." Ok weird...

"Look, I don't know where I am or who you are, maybe I should just go back...." She gave me a startled look, then looked like she understood.

"Oh, I see. Your mother erased your memory before she came back... That Layla." Wait. What?

"My mother died though..." The door then burst open and a woman that looked like my mother ran in. "M-mom...?" She ran over and hugged me. It felt like she was going to break all of my bones.

"Lucy! Oh, I missed you so much it pained me to leave you!"

"But... you died? I watched you die in front of me!" Tears were streaming down my face now. She looked at me sympathetic.

"Honey, that was an illusion... I had to come back to the dragon's realm." Huh? I looked around, I didn't see any dragons? Seeing my confused face my mother explained. "Their all in their human forms right now."

"Uh-huh..." I stood there piecing things together when all of a sudden my stomach growled. "Uh, sorry I haven't eaten since the night before I left..."

"Oh, no problem, we are having dinner prepared right now."

"Ok. So are you a dragon?" I asked sticking my thumb out at the fragile looking lady. She nodded. "What's your name then?"

"Grandine." I gasped as I realized who she was. "What is it?" She asked.

"I know Wendy! She was always talking about you!" I said excited. Grandine smiled saddly.

"I am aware. How has she been treating you? Good I hope..." Now it was my turn to share a sad smile.

"Actually, she had just kinda betrayed me, along with the whole guild..." A single shining tear slide down my face and my mother caught it.

"I am so sorry my dear." She hugged and comforted me. "I am going to have you train with all of the dragons so that you can become stronger than them and they won't want to mess with you." I smiled.

"Thanks mom."

"Oh! I almost forgot come meet your brother!" What?

"Um. Mom? I don't have a brother..."

"Yes, you do, that's one of the memories I had to erase. I'll give you them all back now." She tapped my forehead and memories came rushing back, me playing with a brother, eating ice cream with my dad it falling on my shirt and then we both laugh. Woah. What happened to him...

"Mom... Why did you erase my memories?" She sighed and looked away.

"I had to come back here... Your brother was being a nuisance to all the citizens so I had to step in."

"Oh ok... What's his name?"

"Shane!" Eh... decent enough name, I suppose... I smiled at her as she led me to his room. When she opened the door I gasped. He looked just like the black wizard Zeref!
