Chapter 13

The Mirror

I woke to my exceeds sitting on my stomach staring at me intently.

"What?" I asked. The glanced at each other worriedly and looked back at me. Now they're worrying me. "What!" I ask again. Celeste looked at Zeeka and nodded her head solemnly.

"Well," Celeste started,"you were speaking in you sleep, something about a man named Natsu... And your old guild Fairy Tail. You said how much you miss them and you started crying." I looked down and my face became hard. "Are you ok?" I nod and look at them with my usual smile then get up.

"It's fine. Forget about it! Let's just go before Tsunami cracks my head open..." I shivered at the thought of her rage. With that last comment, we sprinted for dear life out of the room, making it to Tsunami's just in time. She turns and glares at me.

"You're late." I shiver at her tone.

"I'm sorry Tsunami-sensei!" I apologize while bowing like a madman. She smirked at me, then moved her wing, revealing my mother. "Oh! Hello mother!" She nods and walks toward me.

"Lucy, dear, I have a proposition." She looked at me for approval. I nodded showing my interest. She smiled widely. "Alright. So Tsunami has asked me to come and watch you practice today and I have agreed. If you do well I will give you this," she pulled a mirror out of thin air, "It is a magic mirror. If you say who you want to see, then you will see them and If you swipe the mirror to the left it will show the past and if you swipe it to the right you will see their future. Understand?" I nodded and she smiled. "Perfect! Begin!" And with that she walked up a hill to watch.

After a very challenging training, I mastered all of the water dragon slayer attacks and I got the mirror. I would say it's a victory! I grinned as Tsunami walked up to me and sat down.

"You have done well Lucy. I am happy I was your second choice for teacher." She surprised me by hugging me tightly. I was tense at first but then I relaxed. She coughed awkwardly then backed up. She nodded at me respectfully then started to speak, "Tomorrow you start training with Grandeeney," I nod and stand up.

"Well, I guess I'll see you around..." I turned to leave to my room. "Come on Celeste, Zeeka." They nod and follow me to my room.

"Alright I'm going to look up a couple of people with this mirror..." My exceeds looked at each other and wiggled their eyebrows. I groaned and glared at them. They giggled and ran out. "Finally, alone." I glance at my bag and pull out the mirror. I sigh and whisper, "Natsu Dragneel." I watch as the mirror swirls and turns and then stops on a pink haired boy. I smile softly at the thought of him but then shake my head and frown, remembering what happened. As I focus I realize it looks like he's looking for someone.

'Probably Lisanna.' I really hate my conscience sometimes. I set the mirror down, not bothering to turn it off, then walk to get my hair brush.

I stop abruptly as I hear someone call my name. It sounds like a boy, but not Zeref's voice... I turn and follow the voice, leading to my mirror, with Natsu still on it. A tear slides down my face as I watch him wandering around, calling my name. Then I remembered what my mother told me.

'Swipe left to see the past, swipe right to see the future.' I swipe to the left for a while until I get to the day he betrayed me. Watching it over again made me cry, but I had to see where I messed up so I went back the next day.

__________Natsu's Pastish 3rd POV__________

Natsu was still at the party, hanging out with Lisanna because Lucy just left.

"Hold on one second Natsu, I'll be right back!" Natsu watched as Lisanna walked away, almost in a trance. He leaned on an elbow and waited for her to get back.

When Lisanna finally came back, she had a punch glass for Natsu. She smiled sweetly and handed it to him.

"Here you go sweetie!" He grinned at her and took it.

"Thanks Lis!" He drank all of it down in one big gulp. After he drank it he felt weird. He had hate in his heart, and lots of it, he couldn't put his finger on who, or what. 'Popsicle freak? No. Erza? No. Uhh Happy? No... Lucy? Yeah! Its Lucy! She did terrible things to Lisanna! Natsu looked at Lisanna to she her badly injured. "Lis? LIS!" He shrieked and picked her up. "Who did this to you?!" At this point the whole guild was watching the two. Lisanna faked a sob.

"I-it was Lucy... I-I tried t-to go and talk to her but s-she attacked me!" The whole guild was riled up at this point, even Lucy's best friend, Levy. They all felt hate towards Lucy and plotted against her all night, they were to busy to notice the look of satisfaction on Lisanna's face.

Once it was finally morning, the moment came to avenge Lisanna. Everyone got into their places waiting for the moment Lucy stepped into the guild.

Lucy finally got into the guild and everyone walked up to her forming no escape. Natsu was the first to attack. He threw a fireball at her while calling her a worthless hoe. And so the torment went on. After they were all satisfied, Lucy limped up to masters office. She timidly knocked on the door to get her guild mark removed.

While all of this was going on Natsu was talking with the rest of the guild saying horrible things about his former friend. When he heard the master's door open he turned and saw lucy walking out covering her right hand. Natsu grinned and yelled insult after insult at her. After a couple seconds others joined in. Lucy had enough and she sprinted for the doors.

After a couple days with Lucy missing everyone was asking about her, where she went etc. Master finally had enough and told them what they did. Natsu was the most broken about it. He fell on his knees and screamed out, "I will find you Lucy!"

I set the mirror down and cried. They didn't do this of their free will... And I'm betting I know who did it.
