Maddies POV
Hunter kissed me. Woah. I'm actually really happy though. But I think it's best if we just take baby steps because I kinda don't know him and I don't know if I can trust him. I smiled and got up out of the bed. He got up and made breakfast for us both. I swear this boy is just so sweet. We sat and watched TV together. Well what can I say? We have gotten really close. In the beginning we hated each other but look at us now. I'm happy it's this way.
Hunters POV
I wanted to ask Maddie if she wanted to maybe go to the movies today. I wanted us to be a thing. And now that I know she likes me, I can get her to love me. "Hey do you wanna-" I was interrupted by my phone ringing. It was Peyton. Oh god. I picked up the phone and she said "Heyyy Hunter baby wanna maybe ummm hang out today and watch Nextflix? i know u like nextflix ahah." Ugh she try's to be flirty with me. I'm guessing she was around with her ex boyfriend and I didn't want her to get mad at me and expose my secret so I said yes and went over to her house. Well there goes my plans with Maddie. I told Maddie I was leaving and went out the door.
I knocked on Peyton's door. She opened the door in her bra and panties with a robe. Oh god no. I mean I know guys would think that's hot and all. But I'm not really a dirty person like that so I didn't. I walked inside trying to avoid her. "Hunterrrrrrr lets go on my bed to make it more romantic haha" She said in a flirty laugh. She grabbed my hand and took me to her bedroom.
She shut the door and locked it. Now I'm gonna say something. "Please get some clothes on and open the door cause I'm not doing any of this dirty stuff." I said to her getting kinda mad. She stared at me for a few seconds then said "Fine then. If you don't im going to expose your secret. And I don't think you want that. So just lay back, relax and let me figure it out." She whispered and started to get on top of me. I pushed her off and opened the door and left.
She started crying but she was blackmailing me so I was not going to do it. Even if my secret did get around, I'm not having sex with her. I went back home and I texted her.
Me: peyton i dont know if i can find anyone more cruel than you to blackmail me like that. we are done and im blocking your contact. byeee hope u enjoyed ur time with me!
Peyton: i will track u and ur little girlfriend down mr. don't think i don't have the guts to do that. so back up and be my boyfriend for the next few years or else.
I blocked her contact right away. Can't you get arrested for that? When I got home Maddie wasn't there so I got kind of worried. She left a note on the fridge and it said "Hey I went on a walk. Text me if u need anything:) 720-***-****" Okay good. She left me her number so I texted it.
Me: Hey its hunter where are u cuz i wanna join in on ur walk if that's okay
Maddie😇: sure im just down the street.
I started walking and saw these two people fighting. Ehh not my problem. I kept walking and I for closer to the fight. It was Maddie and Peyton. Peyton tackled Maddie on the concrete and I ran up to her. Her lip and head was bleeding. She was crying and I didn't know what to do. I called 911 and Peyton started to punch and kick me but luckily the cops were already there. Maddie was rushed to the ER. I felt so bad. I suddenly remembered when Peyton texted me that she would track us down. I thought she was joking. But no...
