Maddies POV
I don't know what happened. I was just taking a walk to stay active and some crazy girl comes up and starts beating the crap out of me. Like what did I do? It was Peyton of course. She hates my guts. Why is it my fault Hunter likes me? I mean I like him but what does she know about that? Honestly she's just over rated. What kind of person would use someone to make someone jealous? I mean I cant even imagine how Hunter feels.
I was in the ER. I was fine, I just needed some stitches on my head. It may not seem "fine" to you but I've had worse. Stitches is nothing compared to what other injuries I've had.
Hunters POV
I was worried for Maddie. Peyton is crazy. Why does she care so damn much? She doesn't even care about me so why would she care about my relationship status. I can date who I want. I love Maddie. She's a sweet, caring, amazing, and beautiful girl. I know she isn't someone who would tear me down no matter what. Sometimes I feel like no one really cares about me, Maddie makes me feel differently. She cared about me, I can tell. And I care about her very very much.
I watched her sitting in the ER. I was holding her hand because, you know, it just feels like your safe when someone's holding your hand, at least that's how I feel.
We were walking home and I said "I love you, Maddie." She looked at me blankly. She kind of smiled but she tried to hide it. I love seeing her smile. Her smile make me lose it. "Hunter, don't say that. You don't love me. We have only known each other for a few day. You cant love me. There's nothing to love about me" Damn. Did she just say that? "Yes I do! I can feel it. I love you. I love you. I love you. There's so many things to love about you. I want you. I want you to be my girlfriend." I said. She started to tear up a bit. "I cant. You saw what just happened. You wanting to date me is only gonna hurt me more. I love you too but I just cant." She said taking breaths in the middle of words. What she said is true, and I'm afraid I'll never be able to love her:'(
