MADELYNS POV

"STOP!!" I shot up screaming. sweat dripping off my forehead and my body shaking. Michael soon shot up and just held me. I just sobbed into his arms.

"what's wrong?" he asked as he sat me down in the kitchen and passing me a glass of water. I shook my head taking a sip. "no, there's no avoiding. tell me what's wrong?" he sat at the side of me.

I looked at him, his eyes glossy. "I'm sorry" I broke into tears. again. idk what was wrong with me. well obviously I did.

"stop saying sorry and tell me" Mike held me close to his chest and the sound of his heartbeat made me safe.

MICHAELS POV

sat there staring into her eyes which were now streaming with tears made me realise what I had. and how much of a shit job I'm doing of being a partner.

we both sat in silence and I just felt anger and annoyance. how could I let her get hurt again? I promised her protection. "I'm gonna fucking kill him" I stood up grabbed my car keys and stormed off to my car. how fucking dare he do this to my family. he's scum and scum deserve punishment.

I sped off in the car and honestly I wasn't even thinking straight I had no clue what I was doing but I couldn't stay in that house I couldn't look at her in that state. that was painful hearing those words come out of her mouth.

my phone began to buzz I looked down and reached to grab it before it slipped off the seat I quickly jolted forward before losing control of the wheel and bang.

blood was gushing. sirens were ringing. my vision was going black.

"baby" I heard a faint soft whisper.
