The horizon slowky streamed pink as the sun rose from it's slumber. It's rays spread like outstretched arms, touching everything within it's reach.
Some rays squeezed through the curtains of a room, where a certain couple lay fast asleep.
Mitch Hughes and Ashley Surcombe shared a room within the walls of the hotel. Mitch's left arm was extended, creating a makeshift pillow for Ashley. His other hand dangled from the bed, just a few inches from the floor. Ashley curled into Mitch's chest, her hand clutching a small area of his shirt. Their soft snores could be heard all around the room.
The clock on the nightstand read 11:30, his phone buzzing every few minutes. They clearly missed breakfast.
A couple minutes later, Mitch's eyes fluttered open. He yawned and looked around the room, scratching his head. He looked over to Ashley and protrayed a lazy smile. He softly kissed her forehead and slowly slid his arm out, covering her with the blanket as he got up.
After a warm shower, he heard a soft rustle in the bedroom. He quickly dried his hair and rested the towel on his shoulders. He held a cream t-shirt in one hand and used the other to fix his hair. He also wore dark blue shorts that reached just above his knees.
Ashley had just woken up but she just stayed in bed. Her eyes fixated on the horizon, it's warm rays grazing over her face. Her phone suddenly buzzed, a notification popping on her lock screen. Being the lazy person she was, she turned her phone off and started to get to doze off once more.
As she turned to her right, she was greeted by strong arms wrapping themselves around her waist.
"Hey baby gurl" Mitch said, a playful yet lazy smile spreading across his lips. Ashley merely blinked and went back to sleep, not registering the fact that Mitch was shirtless. She just snuggled closer to him, his peppermint scent plunging her into a warm and blissful sleep.
Mitch brushed a strand of her hair and watched her sleep for a few minutes.
Soon, he found himself falling into the depths of his own dreams.

Adam and Jerome's voices echoed as they walked down the carpeted hallway of the hotel. In Jerome's hand was two tickets to a game tonight in Barcelona Stadium. They managed to get the last few tickets before it sold out.
"Man, Mitch and Ash are gonna be so pscyhed when they see these!" Jerome laughed, shaking the tickets infront of Adam's face. Adam merely rolled his eyes in an amused manner and laughed along.
Then, Jerome got his phone and tried another attempt at contacting Mitch. He hasn't answered their calls or messages. Same goes for Ashley.
"Let's go to their room." Jerome gave Adam an odd look. He merely shrugged. "You know, maybe they're there." Adam finished as they took a right turn.
Finally, they reached Mitch and Ashley's room. To their surprise, it was unlocked. Adam and Jerome looked at each other, shock and surprise flashing across their face. Reluctantly, they opened the door.
"Mitch? Ashley?" Adam silently called out. "Mi-" Jerome stopped dead in his tracks, Adam bumping into him. "Dude! What the fuu-?"
The room was neat yet slightly messy. The curtains were barely touched, the window partially visible but enough to fill the room with the afternoon sunlight.
But what shocked them most was what was on the bed.
Mitch was shirtless, his blue shorts and undergarments were the only things he wore. Around his arms was Ashley. She snuggled under his chin, the blankets covering her waist and below. Her tank top's strap slid down her shoulder. They heard Mitch groan quietly and pulled Ashley closer, the girl sighing in content.
Adam and Jerome slowly backed out to the door. As they slowly backed out the door, they were too stunned to talk.
"Let's act like we never saw anything." Jerome said, Adam nodding in agreement.
Then they knocked on the door.
The duo heard a groan and muffled voices. Then, footsteps were heard and the door swung open. Mitch stood at the doorway, a lazy smile upon his lips.
"Hey doods!" Mitch said, running a hand through his hair. He let Jerome and Adam in, closing the door afterwards.
Ashley was leaning against the bed's headboard, tapping on her iPhone. She glanced up at the their visitors and placed her phone on the nightstand.
"Hey guys! What brings you here?" she asked. Mitch nodded in agreement.
"These" Jerome grinned, slapping down the tickets on the bed like he beat them in Poker. Mitch leaned forward and Ashley crawled towards it. Mitch's eyes widened while Ashley cocked her head in confusion.
"Are these-!" "Yep! We got them at the last second" Adam said, confirming his statement.
"We're gonna watch FC Barcelona in action?" Ashley asked, her British accent slowly filled with excitement as she picked up the tickets.
"Hell yeah." Jerome grinned.
Before Ashley could reply, Mitch wrapped his arms around her and they whirled around. "We're going to a Barcelona game!! I can't believe it!" Mitch exclaimed, his voice filled with joy. Jerome and Adam laughed along whilst Ashley remained in Mitch's arms.
He reluctantly let her down. "Well um," Mitch cleared his throat. "What time is it gonna be?" He asked, placing his hands on his hips.
Jerome looked at his watch. It was around 3pm already. "It's gonna start at 7 so let's get dinner at around 6" Adam said.
"So, we got at least 3 hours till the game."
"Yup!"
Adam and Jerome stayed a bit longer and left 15 minutes later.
As Mitch closed the door, Ashley jumped back on the bed with a sigh. "So, what now?" she asked. Mitch merely shrugged and smiled.
