I wake up at this morning by the sun shining brightly into my eyes.Immediately I start to groan and I stretch myself a little bit.Slowly I start to rub my eyes and I open them wich isn't such a good idea,because the brigh sunlight is blending me.Fastly I start to blink my eyes for a few seconds to get used to the light and then everything is better.Then I simply sit up in my bed and I put my head into my hands.I start to shake my head at the thought of the dream that I had.Almost every night I have the same dream of the day where I got banished.Softly I let out a sight and I get up from my bed.After that I grab my earphone and I put it into my ears.With that I leave my room and I walk over into my kitchen.Immediately I get some cereals and a bowl and I take my seat at the small table.Slowly I pure some milk into the bowl and then I put the cereals into it.I start to eat my cereals and everything is simply silent,but then I hear someone talking to me through the earphone.'Firecat ? Come to the main centre now.Your shift starts in 1 hour!'' the person says and I immediately know it's Clint.'Clint,you know that I hate it when you call me firecat ._. But I'll be there !' I answer him and then I just hear him chuckling.Then I get up from my seat and I put the bowl into the sink.After that I walk back into my room and I open the doors of my closet.Immediately I grab my outfit and I walk into the bathroom.I lock the door behind me,strip off,take a short shower,put my clothes on,brush my teeth,blow drye my hair,let them naturally down and I put on some make up.PolyvoreA slight smile appears on my face as I look at myself in the mirror and then I simply look over to my watch.It's already 2.50pm and I have to be at the maincentre in 10 minutes.Slightly I smirk appears on my face and with that I teleport myself a little bit away from the entrance,where no cameras are.Then I walk over to the entrance and there I see Carlos and Danny standing.Both of them have to take care that no one comes inside wich isn't allowed to come.I start to smile at both of them and they immediately let me into the centre.'Need a car ride inside?' someone suddenly says from behind me and I immediately turn to the person with a grin.It's Fury and he just grins at me a little bit.Slowly I nod my head at him and we both get into a car.Fury starts to drive it and there's silence the whole time until Fury decides to break it.
Fury: Jacqueline,today you have to watch the tesseract again !
Me: Uggh..But it's so boring..Nothing happenes ._.
Fury: But what if something happenes ? You never know..
Me: I know..Can I do it together with Clint ?
Fury: You mean Barton and of course you can .
Me: Why do you always call each other with your last names ?
Fury: Because we never get so close.We all are only partners or friends.What's your last name ?
Me: It's still nicer if you call each other with your names..I don't want to tell it to you,we had that discussion already ..
Fury: Alright,if you don't want to tell it,you don't have to and now go to your work.
Immediately I nod at Fury and he starts to smile a little bit.With that I get out of the car and I immediately see all of the other agents.Slowly I walk over to Doctor Selvig and he notices me also.A slight smile appears on his face and he greets me with a nod.I simply nod back at him and I look around for a few seconds.'In his nest?' I simply ask Slevig and he nods at me while he rolls his eyes.Then he tells me that he has to check on something and I simply walk over to the huge wall with the ladder on it.Carefully I climb the ladder up and I already can see Clint sitting in the corner.He just sits there and watches the whole situation from above.Immediately I shake my head and I walk over to him with a bright grin.Clint fastly turns around to me and he starts to smile back at me.Tightly he hugs me and he kisses the top of my head.I start to laugh at him and we both pull back from the hug.'Ready for another boring shift?' Clint asks me with a smirk and I immediately roll my eyes.Slowly I let out a sight and I sit down next to Clint.We both just watch everything from above and like always I'm about to fall asleep.In the past 6 hours nothing happened and my eyes about to close,but then the tesseract makes a weird noise and it lights up a little bit.My eyes get really wide and I look over to Clint.'Fury? Come to the tesseract..It made a weird noise and it lit up a little bit..' I tell Fury through the earphone and I watch all of the others going crazy.They evacuate the whole centre and only a few people can stay like Clint,Selvig and me.A few minutes later Fury is already there and he talks to Selvig for a short while.Clint simply nudges my side and he starts to grin at me.Then we only hear Fury calling us and Clint simply throws a rope down.With that we both slide the rope down and we walk over to Fury.He seems to be stressed and he asks us why we always watch everything from such a distance.'Well,I see better from a distance' Clint simply says and I really have to controll myself not to laugh.We all walk over to the tesseract and Fury let's out a sight.
Fury: Are you seeing anything that might set this thing off?
Clint:No one's come or gone. And Selvig's clean. No contacts, IMs. If there was any tampering, sir, it wasn't at this end.
Fury: At this end?
Me: Yeah. The Cube is a doorway to the other end of space, right? Doors open up both sides.
Clint: Good thinking,Jacqueline..
Fury: So you mean that som..
Suddenly we all get interrupted by the tesseract activating and it starts to shine.It shines over to a free place and then it kind of makes a huge blue wave.The whole ground shakes for a few seconds and the blue light goes up to the wall.Immediately Clint,Selvig,Fury and I exchange confused looks and then we all look over to the place where the tesseract shone to.First of all there's just thick fog and as it dissapears we all see a man kneeling on the ground.He has slick black hair,he's really pale and he has bright green eyes.For a few seconds I just stare at him,but then Fury tells him to put the 'spear' down,wich actually is a sceptre.The men looks at him a little bit insulted and then he simply starts to shoot with his sceptre.Immediately I roll to the side and I fastly change into my Outfit.After that I see that the fight is still going on and I start to shoot some fireballs over to the man,but he doesn't seem to be bothered at all.He simply shoots all of the soldiers and suddenly he shoots a huge blue ball to the last soldier that he sees.Fastly I hide behind a huge box and I can see Clint getting up from the ground.Clint tries to do something,but then man turns him around and holds his sceptre onto Clint's heart.With that his eyes turn into a light blue and he puts his gun back into his pocket.My eyes get really wide and Clint simply starts to follow the man.Right then I see Fury pointing at me and then I hear him say 'Distract this men.I have to keep the tesseract save!' Immediately I nod at him and with that I walk away from the box.The man immediately notices me and he starts to smirk a little bit,but I simply shoot another huge fireball at him wich he avoids.A slight chuckle escapes his mouth and he starts to smirk even more at me.'Please don't.I still need that' he suddenly says and we all turn to Fury.He wanted to leave the room with the tesseract and now he looks at the man in annoyance.Fury tries to protect the tesseract,but then the man says something about him coming from far away.Immediately I turn to the man and I watch him closely.He seems so familiar and I guess he's thinking the same thing,because he's looking at me also with a confused face.Fastly he looks back at Fury and his smirk appears again.'I am Loki of Asgard and I am burdened with glorious purpose' the man says and in that second my eyes get really wide.I absolutly forget about everything that happenes around me and I just stare at Loki.He hasn't changed at all,well from the looks but his eyes got so cold.Immediately I shake my head at him and I look at him dissapointed.Suddenly he shoots Fury and I get out of my thoughts.Clint simply walks over to Fury and gets the tesseract,while I run over to Fury to check if he's still alive.Gladly he is,but then I feel something touching the top of my head.Slowly I turn around and I see Loki starring down at me.He simply starts to grin and says 'I could use a lady.With that he points the sceptre onto my hear,but nothing happenes.I just shake my head at Loki and he looks at me really confused.
Loki: Why doesn't it work ? What have you done ?
Me: You don't always get what you want,Loki ..
Loki: I always get what I want,sooner or later !
Clint: This place is about to blow,master !
Loki: We shall leave then !
With that Loki starts to smirk and he runs off with Selvig,Clint and other people.Suddenly I only hear some things crashing and I look over to see Fury in shock.Fastly I grab his hand and I teleport us both a little bit away from the maincentre.Fury looks up at me shocked and confused,but then he simply let's out a sight.'Well,the avengers have to come now.I'll send you the informations tomorrow in the morning and later on I want you to explain everything!' he tells me and I slowly nod at him.Then I wave slightly at him and I teleport myself into my own flat to get some sleep.
