A broken leg (A Sonic fan-fiction)

Hospital

The blue blur had his eyes half open, fighting to stay awake.  Shadow growled and teleported them to the hospital, carrying his little brother, who was getting colder and colder by the minute. The doctors looked alarmed, taking the blue one and placing a mask on him, rolling him down a hall.

Shadow ran, nurses and doctors holding him back "sire you can't go in till he is stable." He growled at them and pushed away from their hands, sitting down and waiting with his parents and Silver.

It had been five hours, Silver was leaning against his mom, who was humming, running a hand through his fur gently. Shadow was standing up, a frown plastered on his face as he watched other people being called to see their loved ones.

"Sonic's family." A old ladies voice as heard, Shadow rushing down the hall, followed by the rest of them. He stopped at the door, taking a deep breath before walking in and freezing.

On the small bed was the blue blur, bandages covering more then half of him as a breathing masked helped him breath easily. The dark one slowly walked in, crimson eyes scanning the room. Silver walked in, ears flattened slightly at seeing his big brother. They all sat down as the doctor walked in, dressed in blue.

The doctor signed "well, he lost a lot of blood but we managed to help him..but because of stitches and blood loss he can't be up and moving till he is completely healed"

Sonic's dad nodded, Emerald eyes cracking open slightly, a low groan escaping his lips as he glanced around quietly. The doctor left, Shadow watching his little brother "hey there hero." Sonic grinned faintly, coughing "I'm fine" he managed to say before he fell back asleep, a worried face left of the dark ones face as he sat down again, frowning.

Midnight

The hospital was complete quiet, only the beeping of the blue ones machine being heard. A small light appearing in the corner of the room, Shadow appearing. He walked over, sitting in a chair next to the bed "I have to let this out..." He mumbled, clearing his throat.

"I don't know if you can even hear me Sonic, but please survive this...believe it or not..y'all make me happy...and having parents, something I would never have though was possible for me..and it just won't be the same without your annoying face and voice..." He chuckled, looking at him "you jumped in to save us..when I should have been the big brother and saved you....you have to live so I can beat you for doing something so foolish..."

The machine slowed down slightly, Shadow standing up alert. He signed relived as it back to normal, rubbing his brothers head and smiling faintly before vanishing to the place where the rest were all ready fast asleep. He leaned against the wall, napping, a smile plastered on his face.
