"Masky." Hoodie called out. He was falling farther and farther behind the running man. He could of caught up if he hadn't have had to carry all the recording equipment. The forest was dark and the roots felt more restless than usual. "MASKY" he called out again trying to get his attention without summoning any unwanted attention.
This made Masky pause and turn. "Oh sorry I forgot you had to carry the stuff." He grabbed the tripod and left hoodie with the camera. They started to run again this time there were at the same pace. The moon was bright and full and the stars were glistening. They could have stayed there staring at them if they could.
They arrived at the cabin entering and closing the door quickly. The two partners entered the kitchen and ate dinner, it was one in the morning but they were use to it. They ate a simple bowl of soup before heading off to their bedroom. Masky took first shower while hoodie posted the video they had made that day. As hoodie was in the shower he heard Masky speak from the other room, "shit I forgot to clean the scene." With that hoodie paused. If Jay went out there after he say the video it would blow there cover. it would take three hours for the video to upload but they needed to go out there.
When hoodie was dressed he turned towards Masky, "Hey did you say something while I was in the shower?" Hoodie asked already knowing the answer.
"No, why did you heard someone say something?" He was lying. He was faking being scared. Why? why would he lie to me? Should I point it out? No he should be fine. while hoodie was arguing to himself in his head Masky scanned to cabin to check. "No one's here." Masky called up as he walked down the hall. "Are you alright?" he sounded concerned.
I would be if you told me the truth. He's a liar. The last part rang through the hooded mans head. "Yeah, it was probably just the pipes." What do you mean just the pipes he is lying to you, he's a liar. "We should get some sleep." hoodie suggested.
The room had a single dresser where they stored the filming equipment and two doors one lead to the bathroom and the other to the hall. There was only one mattress. Truthfully Hoodie didn't mind the fact that there is only one mattress, what bugged him was Masky always let him have it. Masky always slept on the floor.
"Hey I'll sleep - " Hoodie was cut off by Masky.
"I'll sleep on the floor." He pulled out the spare blanket and leaned his back against the wall. He was drifting off to sleep ignoring Hoodies stitched on frown. Hoodie stared at him. He always gave Hoodie the mattress. What was he trying to prove? that he could be a gentleman? That he was stronger than Hoodie? What ever it was it drove Hoodie insane. He laid on his side and faced away from Masky.
-----------------------
Hoodie woke up the next morning, he looked at his watch it read four in the morning. Oh well that should be enough sleep. He thought as he rolled over to look at Masky. Well he would of if Masky was still there, the corner was empty except for the blanket.
Hoodie stood up and checked the rest of the house. It was empty of Masky and all Masky related things such as a bottle of pills, his jacket and the mask. He had walked out but they didn't have anything planned and no jobs. Maybe he is trying to find a job to get some money. yeah I'm sure that's it. He wouldn't leave me. suddenly the thought hit him. What he did leave me? What if I'm all alone. His mind raced. He soon found himself running full pelt around the forest trying to find him.
"MASKY" He didn't know he many times he had yelled it, he needed to find him. He had to be safe. It hit him. The building he ha almost forgotten what he had said. He arrived to see Masky, no Tim there talking to Jay. The equipment was siting on the tree line along with his mask. He must have changed after he cleaned up.
