When the shooting star finally went fully out of view Hoodie stood up and walked down stairs. Masky was sitting down there a laptop on his lap, Hoodie looked over his shoulder from on the stairs to watch a bit. It was the scene where Jay was chasing him, Tim also in pursuit. They were running towards the maintenance tunnel.

Hoodie was about to watch more when Masky closed the computer. "How long were you going to stand there." He sounded stern and angry. He turned to face his partner.

"I-I just wanted to know," Hoodie panicked remembering the dream, "it wasn't like that," his words were rushed and panicky. "I'm sorry" His voice was quiet and frightened.

"What are you sorry about?" Masky sounded confused, all anger flooded from his voice. He walked up the stairs and stopped in from of his partner. Before Hoodie knew what to do Masky had wrapped his arms around him. "I wasn't angry at you, can you forgive me?" His voice was soft and his breathe was warm against his partners neck.

"I already have." Hoodie calmed down, Masky let go and quickly walked away unsure whether the hug was the right thing to do.

The rest of the time was spent making food and sorting out their next move. Hoodies thoughts spent most of the time drifting to Masky, the hug, the dream and the kiss. He looked his partner in the eyes he didn't see kindness, happiness or anything like when he looked at Jay. They were shallow.

Masky tried talking but quickly realized that Hoodie wasn't paying attention, Masky's thoughts where on how bad Tim had stuffed up. He had betrayed his partner. Tim didn't love Hoodie, that was clear enough. He loved his friend Jay, Masky and Tim would stop the other from making a move. Masky loved his partner with all his heart, but Tim, he loved Jay.

Loved flicked across Masky's brown eyes but quickly died, he didn't want to ruin his relationship with his partner by confessing that would just mess everything up. "I'm going to go sleep." Masky stood up and started walking up stairs only to be interrupted by Hoodie.

"You take the mattress." Hoodie's voice was stern, he wasn't going to take no for an answer.

"But that's your's" Masky replied rather confused. He thought he liked the mattress, but recently sleeping on the floor and telling him to take it maybe Hoodie didn't. "Fine" he replied looking at Hoodie's stern body language showed him he could not argue.

Once Masky had left and was asleep on the bed Hoodie quietly walked upstairs careful not to wake his partner. He took a shower and thought about everything that had happened once again. Everything felt like a blur, he had to be dreaming there's no way that was real. Right?

-------------

Hoodie had fallen asleep back in the corner wrapped in Masky's blanket. As the night went on Masky managed to roll off the mattress, waking Hoodie in the process. This happened about four times before Hoodie gave up and ended up sleeping on the floor next to his partner so he could stop it.

"Shit, WHAT THE HELL." The words escaped Hoodie's lips before he could stop it, his partner had fallen off the mattress only to land on top of him. His partner's head resting on his chest. He looked so fragile lying on top of him.

"WHAT" Masky opened his eyes to see Hoodie's chest and his body on top of his partner. "OH SHIT!" Masky moved so quickly he rolled straight off Hoodie. "I am so sorry." Masky was lying on his back after rolling off. Hoodie sat up and looked at Masky.

"It's alright, It's my fault, I shouldn't have fallen asleep here." He looked down and started to head over to the corner, "we should get some more sleep."

"Well I'm wide awake now, you sleep I'm going to get some work done." with that Masky stood up and left the room.

"Guess I won't be sleeping either," Hoodie sighed, "Hey Masky there's something I need to tell you."  He stood up and made his way down stairs, he needed to tell Masky about what he had done, with the records, the wall, Alex, everything.
