Chapter 3 - giving the enemy riding lessons?

Chapter 3

Destiny's POV

As I opened my eyelids I could see a bright light pouring into my bedroom. I yawned and turned towards the door. It was unlocked since I needed the loo in the middle of the night! I took hopped into my bathroom flip flops then made my way towards the big bathroom. I could hear laughter and whispering's from downstairs which made me smile. I looked at my morning reflection and pulled a funny face. My hair had gone all frizzy and my face looked horrible! I brushed my teeth and washed my face. I ran back into my room and decided I would have a shower today, so I gathered my towel, flannel and clothes together and ran back into the bathroom. As I waited for the water to heat up I checked my phone to see if I had gotten any messages. There were 2 unread messages. One from Louis' sister Lottie and one from Shannon. I bit my lip and opened the message from Shannon which said: 

*Shannon's Text*

Hey Dest. I know you'r still pissed off with me and Darren :'(

 but I want you to know that you'r still my BEST friend, no matter what .

I love you to bits and I always will :D . I'm really sorry for acting the way I did, 

hope we could be friends again? Love Shannon'<3

I smiled instantly and started typing my reply: 

*Destiny's Reply* 

Hey Shan, it's okay don't worry about it :) . I love you too <3 

Still annoyed with Darren though but I doubt we'll ever get along LOL 

Gonna pop into the shower now, see you soon xXx 

I quickly checked Lottie's text which was just saying to call her, and witch that I put my phone down and popped into the warm shower. 

*10 minutes later* 

I hopped out of the shower and shivered as the cold air hit my body. I dried myself with the towel and blow dried my hair. After that I popped into my clothes (Clothes are in the comment section). As I rolled up all my dirty clothes I made my way down the stairs (obviously not leaving my phone ;)). I saw Darren in the kitchen as I shoved the clothes into the washing machine. I gave him a cold look and made my way towards the fridge. There was some pancakes I assume Shannon had made. I took them out along with some fresh orange juice walked into the living room where the girls were hanging out. "DESTINY" They screamed in sync. I laughed and hugged them all. "I got you'r text Shan" I smiled warmly. She smiled back and hugged me tighter. "I'm sorry Dest" she whispered. "It's alright! We all make mistakes" I replied softly. I munched on my pancakes and laughed with the girls for an hour now, it felt nice! "Where's Darren?" Asked Shannon. I shrugged my shoulders and pointed towards the kitchen. "He was in there a while ago" I replied. We got up and started searching for the rebel but he was no where to be found. "I'll go check the back garden." I suggested. I ran into the cold air and called out his name as loud as I could "WHERE ARE YOU PARKER" I screamed. I stopped dead in my tracks as I saw him stroking Charm. I smiled a little and walked towards the fascinated boy.  "He's beautiful init?" I said over his shoulders. He jumped and turned around. "I wasn't poisoning him honest I just-" He got cut off by me putting my finger on his lip.  "I know." I smiled. I heard Charm neighing at me which made me grin. "Hello boy! I see you've made a new friend?" I laughed stroking his beautiful skin and kissing him. "Do you know how to ride horses?" I asked looking up at Darren. "Nope" he replied sadly. "I've always wanted to learn but never had the chance". I almost felt sorry for him! "I know you hate my guts" He started. "But, could you give a few riding tips please? You look so graceful when you ride Charm." He smiled.  "Awe jeez thanks!" I giggled punching him lightlyas he joined in the laughter. "Well, what are you waiting for? Go ask Zoey for her riding helmet!" I smiled as he looked at me unsure. "What colour is it?" He asked. "Blue" I grinned as he sighed of relief and ran back into the house in search of Zoey I believe. 

Darren's POV

I raced my way towards Zoey. Can you believe Destiny actually said yes?  I thought to myself. I finally found Zoey looking at herself in the mirror.  I tapped her shoulder as she slowly turned around to face me. "Oh there you are! We've been looking for you everywhere" she laughed as I giggled. "What do you think of my outfit?" she asked (in the comment section.) I smiled and replied "Looks great!"  "AWW THANK YOU" She squealed. "Did you want something?" She asked. "Yes actually, can I borrow you'r helmet? Destiny's teaching me horse riding." I replied. She stared at me almost in disbelief. "Erm.. Okay?! Sure thing come along!" She smiled awkwardly. I laughed and followed her. She gave me the helmet and wished me luck. I smiled and hugged her in reply then dashed off to find Destiny again. I hope I haven't kept her waiting for too long!

Destiny's POV

 "YEAH OMG I'M SO GONNA COME SOON" I smiled. I was on the phone with Lottie who had just invited me for christmas which was round the corner WOOP! "Okay babe! I need to go now! I'll text you later k?" I said and hang up. "Ah you'r here" I smiled. I gestured Darren to go into the stables and I taught him how to get the saddle ready. He was confused at first but gradually picked it up. "Now that that's sorted, it's time to actually RIDE the horse!" I grinned. His face lit up instantly as he jumped up and down like a little baby would if they got given sweets. I burst out laughing and pinched his cheek. He looked adorable! I took Charm outside and Darren followed me. 

*an hour later* 

Much to my surprise Darren had picked up everything very quickly. Plus he was being so sweet!! You wanna go on a ride? I have a really nice place I go to" I asked helping him get off Charm. I looked up at his eyes and smiled. I was centimeters  away from his face and could feel his minty breath on my face. I guess he was kind of hot. I snapped out of my thoughts and took a step back blushing. "So erm lets get Zoey's horse ready" I mumbled as he rubbed the back of his neck slowly turning into the colour of my hair. "Yeah okay" He replied. 

*10 minutes later* 

"THAT WAS SO MUCH FUN" Grinned Darren as he hopped off Layla slowly. "I KNOW RIGHT YOU'R SO GOOD AT RIDING" I replied. He smiled and hugged me. I hugged back. "Thanks Dest. You'r so nice I don't know why I was so rude to you" he whispered. I felt a pair of soft lips on my cheek and I blushed instantly. "It's no worries. You'r not so bad yourself" I smiled punching him lightly. I guess we could stay friends?
