Chapter 5: If Only I Gave A Fuck About Myself

"HELL NO I AIN'T WEARING THIS SHIT!!" Ashani yelled from my bathroom.

"Just put it on." I groan pushing my face Into my pillow.

She don't say anything.

A silence.

"Are you alive? " I jokingly ask sitting up in bed.

"Sh-shut up! Ugh I'm coming out." Ashani slowly shuffled out in the uniform.

Her uniform is exactly like mine instead of being black and white, her's is black and purple.

I recommended it to be purple.

A grin plastered on my face as she stood in front of me,"Damn babes you look hot." I tried to hold on my laughter but couldn't.

"Haha real funny. I'm not wearing this." She crossed her arms.

I pouted,"Hey the only way Justin said you could stay is if you work as his maid. Besides we'll be together. "

Ashani sighed,"Kay."

I hugged her waist with my one good arm and my door flew open showing Jaden and Justin.

Jaden pointed to us,"I told you how sexy this would look!"

Justin stared at both of us as Jaden talked about our curves in the uniform.

I stood up with my fist balled up,"I will hurt you so fuc-"

"Ah ah ah. No cursing at your boss's best friend." Jaden smirked, I returned the smirk,"Fine I'll kick you."

In a quick motion I kicked Jaden onto my bed since the wooden floor would hurt way too bad when he falls.

Ashani burst out laughing, "Oooooh kill 'em!!!"

"What the fuck?" I laughed along.

Everything went silent then we all started laughing again.

Matilda walked in and the image of her and Alfredo in bed popped in my head,"Will you guys shut up?"

My laughter grew,"Oh but you didn't the other night with you know who."

"Wh.... YOU BITCH!!!" Her whole face turned red.

Me and Jaden was laughing so hard we were crying.

My phone rang and Ashani got it for me although she was still laughing,"H-hello? Huh? Oh..... Yes sir..... Sasha! It's him."

Like a twig snapping my laughter stopped and I grabbed my phone, "Yes sir?"

"Sasha a few of my normals are unable to do their job. I want you to take over you're the best I got." His voice serious.

I rolled my eyes although he can't see,"By the usual spot?"

"Yup, so can you make it?" He answered.

I glanced at Ashani who was looking at me with worried eyes, "Sorry but I broke my arm."

"What? When?"

"A few days ago I was hit by a car." I answered keeping my eye contact with Ashani.

He sighed, "Oh well I heard you moved. Where are you?"

"At a place you won't find. Bye." I hung up.

"Who was that?" Justin asked.

"It's none of your business." I sighed getting up going out my room.

Justin followed me to the kitchen,"You're living under my roof so it is business."

I opened the refrigerator grabbing an apple then turned to him,"So? I don't have to tell you every little thing."

Justin groaned and snatched my apple causing me to frown,"Fine don't be taking my stuff without begging."

"And why would I beg?" I put my good arm over my cast one.

"You can't eat my food, use my water or even sleep in my bed." He smirked.

I rolled my eyes,"I don't sleep in your bed though."

"Well, a bed I bought."

"Fine, I'm going to McDonalds I can stay at Ashani's aunt's house anyways." I turned to go back to my room.

"Okay okay gosh! I'm just kidding." Justin wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me close to him.

My god he smells good, I thought but mumbled,"Justin my arm hurts."

His tighten around me as he put his head the crook of my neck,"You smell good."

Stop beating so fast heart!

I pushed Justin off as best can,"Stop joking around. I'm leaving."

I walked to my room this time Justin didn't follow me.

Everyone, except Ashani was gone,"I told them to leave. Hey wanna go to the park?"

I shook my head,"Not really."

She stared at me for a while before nodding, "Kay."

We sat around doing random things still in our uniform.

"Oh shit I forgot I work here." I stood up.

Shani laughed, "Oooh kill em"

"Bitch you work too." I joked.

As I was about to open there was a knock,"Yeah?"

It was Matilda, "You water the plants today."

Aw I wanted it to be Justin.

"Yes-a-runi-posi-tuni" I smiled pushing my thought far away.

"Well okay." Matilda walked away and I turned to Ashani,"Let's go."

"So when are you going to come back to school?" Shani asked watering a batch of tulips.

I shrugged, "I'm not."

"Why?"

"College is hard and boring. You know what I did in middle and high school about science." I glanced at her lightly watering the red, white and pink roses.

"Yes and because of that you fail science everytime." She sighed, "You need to learn to stop being that way."

I stopped the water pouring out of the watering can,"Ashani, you know why I struggle. I don't want to keep struggling knowing nothing will come out of it."

She set her can down,"Fine! Keep wasting your life away!" With that she ran off.

I sighed starting to water a different section.

Fine! Keep wasting your life away!

Same thing repeated over and over in my head.

I crouched down and cried to myself.

I'm a horrible person.

"So fucking stupid!" I growled using my good fist to punch the ground which was covered with cement causing blisters on my knuckles,"Fuck."

Tears streamed down my face, my fist bleed, and I'm angry as hell.

If only I gave a fuck about myself.
