Author: okay. SOOO you may be wondering WHEN Lucina came in, SOOO I'll tell you. You see, I sort of also want to merge into somewhat my own story, so Eren has been found as a titan, but I added a expedition before the whole Annie one just so that Lucina could fit in. Yeah. And the reason why I haven't update in around a month is because, well, I was lazy. Yeah...no excuse for that. Gomen! (^◇^;) Anyways~
Enjoy the chapter
!Hanji's Pov:
I could see it in her eyes the moment she was in my sight. She had a strong will to fight, to survive.
Her scores are unbelievable as well, and even if some people will be against her joining, we all knew that we needed her. Erwin had a plan on how to use her, and I believe we were thinking the exact same thing, but when short-stack mentioned the topic about capturing Titans, I guess I'd just wanted to play along...though it'd be great if she could...oh those beauties.
I kept my megawatt smile on my face as I told her about my previous experiments to see if I could get her interested in my work, she didn't seem all that annoyed and asked questions throughout my stories. I guess that is to be suspected since we have the same research, some a bit more than others. It had gotten me excited since every time I tell others, they always end up looking tired...I wonder why?
It was a miracle when I found I had nothing else to say, Lucina seemed to already know all of what I have...she truly would be amazing in a fight needing strategy.
We arrived to the training grounds all to soon, and I catch Lucina scan the grounds out of the corner of her eyes.
"Who will I be sparring with?"
My glasses glinted excitedly, my cheeks starting to heat up because that jubilant feeling.
"Just wait five minutes."
•••5 minutes later•••
Lucina's POV
During the duration on five minutes, Hanji and I talked about nothing in general since we've already covered all of our research during the chat-walk here.
It was nice...to be able to speak to someone relaxed without having to be alert for titans at every passing second.
My ears suddenly twitched in the middle of the conversation while Hanji was asking if I'd ever had a thing called 'pastry.' I was in the middle of telling Hanji that I've read about them in my book about practically everything.
"Hanji, sir!"
I turned around to see the group of cadets I fooled around with earlier.
"Oh. It's you people."
We stared at each other in awkward silence, no one wishing to speak on either end. Hanji obliviously stared at both of us, looking more confused by the second.
"Have you...met?"
"Oi, brats. Haduwig will be joining you in hand-to-hand combat training today. Partner up and start immediately!"
"Hai, Levi heichou!"
We all visibly jumped at his voice, but composed quickly after.
"Haduwig! Pair up with Kirstchein!"
"Ah, two-tones?" I mumble to myself.
"Haduwig, you get the wooden dagger!"
Heh. He's the kid who kicked the poor tree. Let me voice my thoughts to him.
"You're the kid who kicked the damn tree. You hurt its feelings...jerk."
I laugh at his reaction as we stood across from each other, readying our battling stances. He stood like every other...right leg front, left pushed back. Feet stepped at 150 degrees, right arm bent to his side, left arm blocking his front.
