eli|his first letter
Dear Eli,
*sighs* My hand is hurting from all this writing but I shouldn't really complain since these letters are kind of...unnecessary. Now where should I start with you? Athletic, handsome, smart...yep, that's Eli King. Best friend of the now dead Michael Anders. I'm sorry, I just love that. The words Michael Anders and dead in the same sentence. It's just...😍.
Okay, I guess I should cut to the point, I am being a bit mean. Especially since on my second day of school, you were actually pretty nice to me. I remember, I was on my way to Science with a load of heavy books again when a sharp shoulder bumped into me. All the books fell, obviously, and so did the many pieces of paper I'd hastily stuck into my private notebook (okay...it's a diary). I looked up to see the perpertrator even though my action was in vain (seriously, who else could it have been)? Guess Michael really liked holding grudges.
I sighed, tucking a stray piece of hair behind my ear as I tried to pick everything up.And that's where you come in.
'Need help?' You asked.
'No.' I spat. I didn't mean to be rude but it was barely an hour into the school day and I'd already been p'd off. Besides, I saw you and him hanging out together at lunch. A blind man could see that you two were friends.
You ignored me and helped to pick my stuff up anyway.
'Thanks.' I mumbled.
'It's cool.'
And then we stood there, I know that you wanted to say something else and so I stood there waiting. Certainly didn't seem like you had anything to say though. Then we both walked awkwardly into class, attracting the attention of some other students. Perfect. Now they really would think that I was a harlot.
'Where were you yesterday?' I asked Isiah, spotting him by an empty seat. I quickly sat down next to him.
'I had a meeting.' He mumbled.
'For the whole of two periods and lunch?' I flashed him a smile. He looked at me and then looked away again, starting a conversation with somebody else.
Weird, I thought. But then I remembered. He'd obviously heard about what 'happened'. It kind of hurt me at first but I'm a big girl, I could handle it.
'Okay class. Can anybody tell me what we've been focusing on for the past few months for the sake of our new student?'
A few giggles. I sank down in my seat.
'Plants.' Michael said. I turned around to face him. He seemed like a boy who didn't really listen to rules but he completely changed around teachers. 'Herbivores and omnivores, right Sir?'
'Right.'
'In case you didn't know newbie, omnivores eat meat and herbivores eat plants. Kind of like cannibalism, don't you think so Sir?'
'In a way, yes.'
'The predator always catches the prey.' Michael continued. 'Quite an important fact so I wouldn't forget that, if I were you.'
Well Eli, I had a feeling that he wasn't just talking about science but oh well. It's actually funny now, remembering hat moment. Because he couldn't catch me if he was still alive.

Teen FictionDon't get me wrong. I didn't mean to make what happened happen, it just sort of...happened. Everybody claims that they'd feel sorry for you, that they'd help you if you were in a position like mine. Piece of advice: they're probably lying to you. I...
